Hi, VC! How are you today?

I also suggested it because she is new and is in the "I want to try every flavor and vape nonstop" stage that we all go through. Later on, she might want to use it more like a cig and only hit it a couple times an hour, so she could bump up nic strength then, but if she is enjoying her new toy as much as I did as a newbie, she'll probably end up with headaches at the higher nic. :)

Everyone's different, but for me personally, it took 3 years to quit smoking that way.

1 month with the eRoll and a few NJoy Kings at 45mg and I'm off -- easily, I might add.

Basically, Motek, if you find yourself getting frustrated with it, increasing the nicotine would be the first thing I'd suggest. Fixing the addiction first helps you tolerate a whole lot more fussiness while you're still getting used to vaping :)

I agree, but she is already excited about trying the new flavors and if she is hitting it non-stop, she is going to get a headache at the higher nic levels. Like you said, everyone is different, but I started with 12 mg. and by the second day of vaping, I was finished with analogs. Haven't had one since. And I wasn't trying to quit, just planned to vape when I couldn't have an analog. Either way, i think it's always a good idea to have some flavorless 0 mg on hand, even if you just use it to clear an atty before switching flavors. :)

Motek 777,

I would also order a bottle of 0 nic unflavored if I were you. I was a pack a day to two packs a day smoker of Virginia Slims Lights and I couldn't do 18 mg, much less 24 mg without getting a bad headache and feeling sick. I had to do 12 mg and still do. If 18 or 24 works for you, that's fine, but if it is too much, having a bottle of 0 nic that you can cut the strength with is a good idea. And when your kit arrives, remember that you don't drag on the eRoll the same as you do a cigarette or you are going to end up coughing like crazy. Take long, light, slow drags off the eRoll, hold the vapor in your mouth for a couple seconds and then exhale through your nose for maximum flavor enjoyment.

I'll do that. Some days I smoke myself sick so I'm sure vaping a yummy flavor I could do it even easier!

Not at all disagreeing with you in any way :)

Just letting her know that if she does get frustrated, it's a good first thing to try. I was excited about the juices and stuff too, but it just didn't work for me until I finally went nuts with the nicotine levels.

In other words, we're both saying, "Be prepared to do whatever works!"

I like PG because it gives a good throat hit. However if you use 100% PG you dont get a lot of vapor. So i went with 80/20, great throat hit, good vapor production (with wordup) Other vendors who dilute you may need to go 50% or less PG to get the same vapor, and youll be losing the throat hit. I also started ecigs using V2 cigs, which are all like 80/20 or 70/30 mixes if you get their eliquid (which is pretty bad eliquid honestly now that i know what good eliquid is!)

Some devices wick thinner liquids better or thicker liquids. I think the eroll is good with a sort of thicker liquid.

So which number is the 80 in what you buy, PG or VG? Wordup sells it both ways. Confused!

I will be vaping too much I'm sure! I'll buy some 0% and samples at different nic levels as well as flavors (in small bottles) Thanks to everyone here hopefully I will be well prepared!

I have a question for my fellow e-Rollers. When you put a new tank on, do you drip a drop or two directly onto the atty before you put the tank on? I always did that with my e-Go C and since this is the same atty, I do it with the e-Roll, too. And when I'm switching flavors, I sometimes drip a drop or two of flavorless on the atty to clear it before putting the new flavor tank on. Anyone else do this?

I do not drip onto my atty when switching tanks. However, I often get a dry hit the first drag as my new cart wicks.

For those buying the eRoll for an all day device, I highly recommend buying an additional 5 pack of cartridges, and a case to hold them, like this one:

Smokeless Image | The Best Electronic Cigarette

This is what I use, the cartridges don't fit super tight, but it does work well for carrying 5 pre-filled tanks around all day. I use the caps that come with the cartridges to keep them sealed.

Thanks! I've been looking for something exactly like that to carry my extra tanks. Unfortunately, they are out of stock, but I'll keep an eye out for when they have more.

If i run the tank empty or its a new atty i always prime it with a few direct drops, and let them soak in. When switching flavors honestly, it seems like you get the old flavor 1 puff, then a mix the next, then its the new flavor. Swapping flavors with the eroll seems to be pretty foolproof

I'm not sure the eRoll does better with thicker juices, I've been going through quite a bit of Torque56 in mine and Halo juices are some of the thinnest I've ever seen. It's been a great combo, just wish I could get them to make me some higher than 24mg. I go through a lot of Boba's Bounty too, but not in the eRoll. It just funks up attys way too fast. I drip it in rebuildables, dripping it is the only way I can get BB the way I like it. I've never had any leaking issues with the Torque and I usually carry it in my pocket with the LED end pointed down.

Ive used thinner and thicker juices, ive had the thinner leak on me. I try to keep it LED down in my pocket but sometimes it falls sideways and leaks. I really feel like there is a sweet spot, and its slightly on the thicker side, but not too heavy. Mine doesnt leak no matter how you flip it with the wordup 80/20 pg/vg. I know higher PG liquids are typically thin, but this stuff is not at all

I ordered an eRoll earlier today and glad to hear it works well with Torque. It's one of favorite juices.

I have been using Halo juice in my eRoll since I got it, and I've experienced some leaking.
But only when I've left a tank attached, and unused, for long periods of time.

Now I always put an empty tank on the battery before putting it away for the night.
[I've lost track of how many times and where I've mentioned this]

While I have yet to get my own eRoll, I do know the eRoll's tank system is essentially a miniaturized eGo-C tank system(local shop has eRoll's in stock, got to take a close look)
The main thing to remember about it is if the PV is gonna be sitting for extended periods, always have the mouthpiece pointing down. This way juice either leaks back into the storage portion of the tank or down into the vapor channels and on my eGo-C, I find it less annoying to clear out the vapor channels than the atty housing or battery connector.

Unlike clearos, the coil isn't wrapped around the wick in the eGo atty heads. Instead the wick terminates above the coil, so if left with the tank pointing down onto the atty head, gravity and capillary action will cause the juice to leech onto the coil, which will then flood the "cup" the coil is mounted in and eventually leak out the vent hole in the bottom.

My wife and I always add a few drips into the atty when changing flavors or refilling.

That means standing the PCC on end, and while it works I prefer to put an empty tank on.
Just another option for people to consider.

And besides, I prefer not to have to clear anything.
