Can you dry burn a coil with the Eroll?

To dry burn the coil you need to take the cap off the atomizer with the wick, or use a mesh wick. Just take that cap off, reassemble with atomizer body, cone, but no cart. You can either puff, or cover the side hole and blow through the front.

Actually you don't have to blow through the front hole. I've hit the wrong end by mistake, it fired and kept firing until the cutoff time. I thought I sucked juice into the switch or something, but it's worked fine every since. I've actually done it twice, DoH!

Yeah that puts the ecig into some crazy overdrive mode. I always freak and think its burning the wick up so i try to vape it the entire time. I did it once by mistake, then my brother hit the wrong end another time.

What is all this about leaking? I have had my eRoll for a few months now and not ONE single tiny drop has leaked. ThE PCC is thrown every which way in my bag. Sometimes for days. NO LEAKING EVER!!!! Not one drop.

For you few you have leaking, please check your juice viscosity. Sounds too thin. And check that your tank is securely attached or something..... I don't know. I just can't see how it can leak? The juice is suspended in the tank and even if I take a filled tank and shake it upside down like crazy, I can't get it to spill a drop.

I changed a ss mesh also to inside a coil, so I guess that doesn't need to dry burn.

The mesh wick is amazing. If you get a dry burn, it doesnt linger. You cant scar the wick and off your flavor. Ive always been looking for a way to get away from the poly wicks that MELT. Blegh

The coil is not the same as the wick, you need too burn the coil once in a while to remove the built up gunk.
Yes, but there is a tiny silica? wick inside the coil. I took it away and put a 0.9 mm diameter ss mesh wick to its place.:rickroll:
There is still a test going, but so far it works well.

Put a LR atty in the second stick and Halo Mystic in the tank. Yet another match made in heaven. Think I'll leave them like this, Torque and Mystic and LR. Tried some Gandalf in one of these but didn't have as good of results. To be fair though it was 60% VG and SR atty. if you're a Halo fan, be sure to try some in your eRoll.

I've had mine for around 3 weeks now. I'm very happy with it. I bought it to compliment all the other varied devices I own. I was thinking it would be a great niche unit. It has become my daily out and about AND home unit. I have some very good devices just sitting there at the moment. I ordered some extra batteries, atomizers and even a new PCC of a different color. So I'm in.
This unit really replicates the motions and mechanics of smoking. The PCC has yet to leave me "stranded".
I have had no leakage.

I always double check that it lights when I place the eRoll in the PCC because I have noticed it may not always make proper contact.
I have had more than a few times where it goes through the full 10 second draw until cut-off and then does the 3 blink. I'm not sure why this happens and the first few times it did, it freaked me out a bit. It happens sporadically and that is the one thing I don't care for.
I did up my nicotine level as many here suggested and I agree that works well with the eRoll.
It satiates my cravings well and helped reduce my vaping frequency.

This is a very pocket-able and super convenient device. Very flat and small. It so far seems to be reliable as well.
I'm hoping the atomizers will become a bit less expensive but so far I have had none die on me. I have re-wicked a couple. Mostly out of curiosity and to satisfy the tinkerer in me. I've put both silica and mesh in them with success.
All in all, I'm very pleased with the eRoll and I feel confident enough in the unit to recommend it to friends.

How could you take away the orginal wick without breaking the wires, unless you do this, ive rebuilt my ego atty coil like this you never have too buy an atomizer again and save 5 bucks each time, tose attys are not the cheapest.

Repair Ego-C with cotton as wick -
