I've had mine for around 3 weeks now. I'm very happy with it. I bought it to compliment all the other varied devices I own. I was thinking it would be a great niche unit. It has become my daily out and about AND home unit. I have some very good devices just sitting there at the moment. I ordered some extra batteries, atomizers and even a new PCC of a different color. So I'm in.
This unit really replicates the motions and mechanics of smoking. The PCC has yet to leave me "stranded".
I have had no leakage.

I always double check that it lights when I place the eRoll in the PCC because I have noticed it may not always make proper contact.
I have had more than a few times where it goes through the full 10 second draw until cut-off and then does the 3 blink. I'm not sure why this happens and the first few times it did, it freaked me out a bit. It happens sporadically and that is the one thing I don't care for.
I did up my nicotine level as many here suggested and I agree that works well with the eRoll.
It satiates my cravings well and helped reduce my vaping frequency.

This is a very pocket-able and super convenient device. Very flat and small. It so far seems to be reliable as well.
I'm hoping the atomizers will become a bit less expensive but so far I have had none die on me. I have re-wicked a couple. Mostly out of curiosity and to satisfy the tinkerer in me. I've put both silica and mesh in them with success.
All in all, I'm very pleased with the eRoll and I feel confident enough in the unit to recommend it to friends.

how difficult is it to disassemble the "type-a" heads? they're very small, and im surprised you did it. any pics per chance?

I posted this a few pages back;

Ok i filmed myself rewicking an atty. I made the critical error ive never had happen, but when forcing the atty back together with it in the eroll, pushed the clip down a bit. So at first i say its ok to leave it in when you do this, and after i say you may not want to. Well that was also a moment of personal discovery for me too hahaha. Otherwise hope you can see what ive done!

edit: If you are having trouble pulling the wick from the top with pliers or tweezers, you can use a pin. The stock wick is wrapped in mesh so if you can poke from the middle into the side and catch it, you can lift it out easily

great video, that sleeve is kinda scary that its so loose?! ....

how long does the coil last in these (i never owned a ego-c or tank device like this before) so i was also thinking instead of buy a new head just tossing the head in a ultrasonic jewelry cleaner.

Eh i think i pushed pretty hard because i was off a bit, its not all that loose. lol. The coils are pretty thick, i imagine they last a long time. I have my original still going strong with a mesh wick.

How could you take away the orginal wick without breaking the wires, unless you do this, ive rebuilt my ego atty coil like this you never have too buy an atomizer again and save 5 bucks each time, tose attys are not the cheapest.

Repair Ego-C with cotton as wick -
Saying it in short:
I just opened the atty cover from behind and tapped that white ceramic part down to the same level than a front edge of the cover.
Then with a needle raised carefully the both edge of the coil, until the needle can be pushed through it, and removed that silica wick away, and put the ss mesh wick to its place.

Has anyone noticed that there PCC isn't holding a charge as long? It could be just that I'm vaping too much but today mine died around 3:00 PM

No issue here. How often do you charge it? Were you really vaping that much today? Thats about 500~ vapes if its up to par at all. Even at a 70% degrade which you should be nowhere near yet, 350~

You are one sneaky dude..lol...Did you figure this out by yourself?...eventually you have to replace the whole coil tho when it burns out, heres some pics for ya how too help rebuild the coil for the EROLL and the EGOC .BTW,i cant add anymore pics, the site wont allow me.

Volume Control- constantly vaping today- refilled 2 carts at least 3 times each and charge them when they start blinking. I should keep track

Yeah thats maybe 40-50% of the PCC capability if both batts were charged before the PCC. If not maybe 60-70%. What nic level were you using again? If its 36 that is a ton, id probably be green lol =|

edit: I cut two tanks in half and lined them up to make a 1ml tank. I am just waiting on some quiksteel to bond them. Might not trust it with corrosive flavors but the stuff is resilient enough for tanks afaik.

Also, i probably use 6-7 tanks most days, and ive never had the PCC run out. If you are furthering your discharge you are likely shortening the device life. Another possible culprit is the batteries being older. That could cause more strain on the PCC. Does one of them seem off, maybe weaker than the other? I dont really want to discount anything, but if it continues to only last that long there is an issue. =(

I've got some thoughts on using the eRoll and why its shipped with the number of accessories it is.

A second charged batt has no place to go while the other one is charging so it bangs around in your pocket getting scratched up. Or lost.

The idea is to replace the action of smoking cigarettes. You take it out and hit it ~5-15 times over the course of 5-10 minutes, put it up for 15-45 minutes then do it again. As long as you are just a 1-2 PAD smoker the eRoll can handle this routine no problem with a PCC recharge every day or so. If the batt is not in use it goes in the PCC and is protected and recharged.

The system is designed to use ONE battery and keep it ready for use under the "normal" usage I describe above.

In that scenario, at some point your first battery will die, so it comes with a spare so you can keep reusing your eRoll while you order a new backup. Likewise, at some point your atty will also die, so there is a spare also. You get three carts so that you can swap flavors and if one leaks you aren't screwed till the Mail comes.

Cones don't fail so there is no reason for a spare.

I bought an extra cone and so I use an eRoll while one is recharging. If the charge isn't finished yet- I put the eRoll in my pocket (not in the PCC)...once the charging is done, I take out the charged eRoll and vape it and put the one in my pocket in the PCC. Sometimes I cannot vape because one battery is dead (blinked 5 times) and the other one is not charged yet, but this typically doesn't bother me.

No problem with that, but likely means you are still vaping like a vaper (rather than like a smoker) or you were one serous chain smoking dude.

I found that I had grown to where my big fat mod was virtually chained to my hand and I vaped almost nonstop while awake. MUCH more frequently than I EVER smoked. High nic juice and the eRoll have greatly reduced the minutes per day where if you see me, you see me sucking on an ecig. To me, this has felt like a great return to normalcy, just without the wheezing lungs and hacking cough.

Truth be told, while I learned to truly enjoy inhaling all sort of interestingly flavored juices semi-non-stop, I embarked on this adventure two years ago NOT to develop a new obsession, but to reduce the likelihood that my smoking would kill me. For me and my situation, the eRoll has fit my original need in a way that even the highest volt tastiest juiced coolest cart/tank/atty gadget never did.

Okay, so today already the red light came on on the PCC.
I found that I have to fill carts every other time that I charge it (after 5 blinks).
Today, I filled 2 carts 2 times each and charged my eRoll e-cigs 8 times...at the end of the 8th one charging, the Red light on the PCC came on showing it needed charging. Before I went to bed last night, the PCC was fully charged and had no eRoll in it until I used my eRoll exclusively this morning. That said, I did not use any other device this morning for vaping.

Yes, I'm a heavy vaper- use 36mg in my eRoll (18 in my Reos- and I typically use 6ml a day even when I work) and my calculations are that I had already gone through 4ml of juice at right around 2PM, after waking up at 8:30 this morning and pretty much continuously vaping. Of course, in the real world MLK Day is not every day and I would be at work where my vaping would have to take a back seat to what I am doing besides being on the internet, etc.
