I'm the one, shoot me a PM when you get back. I've got a few ideas but first want to dissect it and see how easy the charging points go back together. I'll probably take it apart in a bag in case anything is spring loaded. Once I see it apart ill decide which direction to go with it. Some options are to gut it and use it to store extra tanks, batt, attys...another is a smaller battery and room for tanks...another is to replace battery...last is to transfer guts to an old school wooden one-hitter or dugout. If you don't know what I'm referring to that's about all I can say openly on the subject 8D

Dugout is a good idea.

I have also thought of making a custom wood pcc using the contacts for from the eRoll pcc. Make it big enough to hold some extra carts.

At first I thought make it big enough for an extra battery, but find that is not necessary.

Hmmm. I don't think I got extra cones with mine.

The Rocky Mountain Vapor eRoll kit I got today - box was shrink wrapped. The extra cone was in a tiny little box separately. I wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't wrapped in a bunch of bubble wrap. As I mentioned earlier, it was the wrong color (the kit, they got the cone color right!) due to a new employee issue. I thought it was interesting that the person I spoke with specifically asked if the box was shrink wrapped. Not sure if this info is helpful, but there ya go!

Mine just fired up in the case.

It just started, luckily I was sitting right by it and heard that oh-so-familiar sizzle. Opened the case and touched the cone, and it was very warm.

I hadn't even had it charging for long, maybe five mins? It was still lit up and charging when it started sizzling, so if I hadn't been right here, I wouldn't have even noticed it.

I pulled it out, let it cool down, hit it (worked fine), and put it back in the case. Now it's charging fine. How many is tht now? Three? I forget how many others have had this issue.

This has recently started happening with mine. I've been making sure the little hole is always facing the lid now, not sure if that makes a difference. I notice it for two reasons - 1) I'm very sensitive to noise. The crackle sound actually sounds kind of like an old record player, the sound of which is on the beginning of a ringtone for a friend, so when I hear it - I quickly grab my cell phone. Several times now, it's been my PCC/eRoll, not the cell phone! :( 2) With "Buttery Nipple" (from VapeDudes) with 3x flavor - it's a very strong scent. If I suddenly start smelling strong butterscotch, and I'm not vaping, I know it's firing in the PCC again. That just happened at a funeral. A bit awkward.

To those who replied re: the twist i was trying to figure out for an acquaintance - the Vision EGO clearomizer i purchased from RMV did arrive today, as did the charger for the twist. As it was charging, I let "Strawberry Fields" (VapeDudes, 95 VG, 5 PG - 3x flavor- then added 10% distilled water after it arrived) sit for half an hour. It's not harsh, no burnt taste. I don't know if the problem was his tank/clearomizer/whatever equipment he had - or the terrible "juice" - the smell of whatever that was did not come out of those parts. I had a friend smell it today. He confirmed. Awful. So... i'm learning to use a manual battery :D Messing with the variable voltage. I could lie to the dude and tell him I liked it as is, especially since the strawberry tastes so much better in this than in the eRoll, but I'll return it to him, "fixed" and let him keep it if he wants. If he offers it to sell it to me cheap, I'll have a twist in my arsenal! (Trying to not get too attached! Certainly wouldn't take it driving or out in public tho.)

are you cleaning the cone out regularly? I try to clean it out after every tank. If fluid gets into the battery under the atty it can cause it to fire. I put Vaseline around the atty seal it better. I have only used it on 2 tanks but it looks as if the vaseline has stopped any fluid from getting under the atty.

I have been thinking about picking one up, just for the novelty of being able to game with an ecig hanging out of my mouth. I have tried one, and it is very light and capable of putting out some pretty good vapor. Not an every day ecig to use, but think it might be what I have been looking for for use during some late night multiplayer matches when I can't pause to take a pull off of my mod.

What I don't understand is why the eRoll doesn't have it's own subforum yet.
I'm sure that will come in time, but I'm a bit confused as to what they are waiting for.

Anyway, as long as this thread remains here, there will be more eRoll converts.
So maybe getting a subforum would be counter-productive.
:)

Got my eRoll this morning. Stoked.

Great little device, so slick, and packs a punch for its size.

The juices I bought (Titan fluid) aren't really bowling me over yet though. I'll let them steep a little and see what happens. I really wish Mt Baker had a UK store though. Everyone seems to rave over their juices, but the cost of shipping to the UK is too much for me.

My kit came from RMV the same way. Apparently the actual Joytech kit only has one cone in it. The second one is being tossed in separately by RMV.

Just popped some Titan coffee 24mg into my spare white eRoll. It's crackling quite a lot. Is that normal? My black one which is filled with vanilla doesn't crackle. I have only just started using the white one though so maybe it's that? Or certain liquids do it?

Yeah, I think it's normal man!

Regularly, but perhaps not thoroughly enough. I see carrying a Qtip around in my future!

So... are we moving to the part 2 or staying here? - And yes, that RMV throws in an additional cone is awesome. They're the only ones that do it that I know of. It just makes sense. Joyetech says here's enough stuff to make two - except a cone. You'll need one - a lot of places don't sell them - and if they do they might not have anything else you want, so you'll pay more in shipping than the cone is worth - ha! Not long after I talked with RMV, I got an email saying that they had shipped out another Priority Mail package (hopefully with correct color.) Very happy with them.
