The center pin in those devices might be pressed in a little, and they are not making contact with the eVic's connections.

The pin on your eGo-C's are probably tiny bit higher (the center pin on the eVic is notoriously "low") and are making contact with the BCCs even though they are a little pushed in.

How to fix this? I'd suggest using an adapter on your evic for the devices that are giving you trouble. Sometimes that helps.
 
I don't screw them on too tight now, but I think that when I first got my Evic I did screw them on a little too tight, so the little post got flattened a little. I just tried taking a small flat head screw driver to the post and very gently rotated around the post pushing it up slightly and that seems to have worked for the time being... I am very interested in this adapter idea though....
