Joyetech eVic VTC mini - passthrough?

I was dead set on getting the regular joyetech eVic VT device until I saw the starter kits for the mini. The only thing is, I'm reading that the mini uses an external battery (18650) yet has passthrough capabilities. Maybe I'm completely behind the curve, but is this true? I didn't know this was possible if the battery is removeable. I can't find much more info on it and most sites seem to say nothing of it. I just want to make sure I can use it while charging as that's a big selling point for me. Anyone have personal experience with these devices?

Yep. it supports passthrough charging... Can't say I'd recommend it, as it may reduce battery longevity and I'm not a big fan of simultaneous charging and discharging, but the feature is there if you want to use it.

Yes it supports passthrough charging as mentioned but as what Cloudmann had said wouldn't really recommend doing that. Overall the built quality on this thing is good and would definitely recommend it over a subox kit due to its TC capability. A small problem is that it has some play on the buttons itself but overall the TC side of things combined with a subtank mini looks and vapes great so far. (Although TC need about 30deg C more on Evic Vtc mini compared to my IPV4s to get the same results)

Also the HUGE screen, just perfect!

In this case if they advertise it as such I would try it myself altho cautiously. Joyetech has years of experience in passtroughs and PV's in general.

My defender works whilst charging but not sure if it's a wise thing to do. Doesn't say it does on the Web site or in the manual so don't do it often and when I do use it this way it's with a wall adaptor and not my computer. Sorry I'm a bit off topic.
