i'm hoping this is the right place for asking for reviews on products from two different companies.
ive always been a joyetech person, ever since i switched off of my m401's.
but the revvo looks so cool!
only problem. i've never had any experience with aspire at all, and neither has anyone local to me.
the consistency of vapor is my big thing....
i just dont want to spend all my expendable on the aspire without input.
any joyetech fans used the aspire w/revvo or vica versa?
even just general input.
my last unit was the joyetech evic aio (loved the thing)

Although i don't belong exclusively to a single company, my first mod was from aspire, and through thick and mud carried me for months before i got a dual battery device.
Easily one of the most durable mods i've owned (not counting the Aegis legend/aegis ofc)
Someone else that might vouch for aspire is @stols001 , pretty sure she owns multiple Aspire products and loves them as much as i do :p .

Well I can't speak to that particular aspire product and the quality of the vape, (I have actually not won but purchased) several Aspire products. I am a MTL vaper (although I did vape briefly and hate (the vape although I will note it was CONSISTENT) a Cleto tank and I will say Aspire stuff is just generally reliable, I don't use any Aspire tanks at the moment though I do have nautilus COIL tanks and Aspire has come out with a few "stars" so to speak. My husband has my Nautilus tanks now and is quitting using those.

As far as my experience with Joytech they do have a standout, as far as having designed the Joytech CLR coil, but my experiences with their gear have been a bit less stellar. I have broken many, many Joytech tanks and am one of the people who just did not have a great time with the picos, either. I mean, they weren't terrible but not great either, and as far as I'm concerned (keep in mind I am hard on gear) joytech is one of those brands that isn't durable enough for me over the long time. Of the aspire products that I've owned, I have broken zero of them.

So, while I cannot speak directly to that product and how you will like it, I consider Aspire to be one of the more reliable manufacturers who don't make stuff that isn't pretty durable and well designed.

Also to keep in mind there are like a JILLION folks besides me who LOVE joytech stuff, do well with it, do not have problems, and likely MY problem with Joytech is ALL my own, not necessarily YOUR problem with Joytech. I mean, if you are not LIBERALLY HURLING gear to the ground o a sort of semi routine basis, you may find Joytech plenty reliable and that you prefer their products. That is ALWAYS a possibility.

I'm just the opposite. I have had many many Joyetech products and love them for their reliable and durability. I often talk about my all time favorite mod, my Joyetech VTC Mini that I have had since its release YEARS ago and still use daily.
My Picos are simple, but have yet to ever fail me.
I moved away from Aspire when they were in a Nautilus/Atlantis rut. Everything was a variation on them and nothing really knew. They were consistent though, just not exciting.

It's kinda hard to give you a comparison of the two though because one is a tank and the other is a mod/tank kit.
The Exceed is a decent sub-ohm tank.

I didn't hear great things about the Skystar w/Revvo so I stayed away from it.
I didn't like the plastic of the Skystar, it could only handle up to 24mm tanks, and the Revvo had some wicking issues I heard.
It didn't suit me, but YMMV.

It would be easier if you gave us some more info on your vaping style, budget, likes, dislikes, etc.

so my budget is $90 all in... which both the joyetech cuboid with the exceed+pack of coils and the skystar w/revvo ends up being after batteries etc.
my supplier has consistently been the cheapest in canada, i really dont care to double check at this point, this time round. (the fact that i can get it in 42 hours is cool, cant do that with stuff from the states, stays that long in customs xD )
i have always loved joyetech, specifically for the consistency (of the vape itself) but being trapped below 35 watts is a bit scary for me. none of the other tanks fit my budget for joyetech from my supplier. saying that, i was rarely above 29 (if memory serves, its been awhile) on my evic aio. which i loved. i havent done external tanks since the hardware switch a few years back now.

my units are hardly ever bolt upright, and the style of the coil on the revvo kinda reminds me of the old m401 and the 510 bridge attys somehow. i have one hand that works, but i have a feeling the one that doesnt really; might like the skystar.... whereas if the cuboid is similar in shape to the smok alien like it looks to be- i know my left hand wont like it.

i am chronic pain so i need to be able to fill my lungs right up every once in awhile, but most of the time i'm really only a tootle puffer (i mean cmon, the ego aio mods lasted me this long) but they truly are not strong enough for that aspect, and then out comes the analogues and i'm just done with doing that

How about fire button placement?
Does a side or front fire button work better, or maybe a fire bar?
Which Cuboid version?
Is weight much of an issue?

I have a friend with MS and there were a lot of issues that we didn't know were issues until we were trying to find her a mod, lol.

I am confused what and why you want. You like/want revo for just a look??? Or for vaping at 80-85 recomended watts? Vaping at 80 watts will drain baterries very fast... If you want mod that is rugged and can easily survive multiple drops Skystar is not optimal choice... it is very rounded and slippery... but Geek Vape Aegis or Aegis Legend not only will survive but much less likely will drop because is much less slippery and is much better molded to hand.

I do not understand also your attachment to your Canadian supplier.... somebody on limited budget should not shy away from waiting couple days or even weeks longer to buy something that will provide months or even years of reliable and satisfying usage. Your $90 budget should let you buy Aegis with a Revo tank.

Today I received my Cuboid Mini... it is really mini... smaller than my Aspire Zelos... I like it very much... it is tiny mod with a huge bright screen....... but.... because it is small and light it is much more likely to slip out from my hand than my much heavier and bulkier Aegis... but....if such thing will happen.... this tiny mod costed me $17.01 including free shipping.... that is less than cost of 3 packs of cigarettes where I live. For $90 you can buy 2 Cuboids Mini mods plus Zenith Tank (or many other tanks) plus 15 zenith coils...
