joytec cuboid not firirng all the time

i recently bought a joytec cuboid with a pair of
Samsung 30Q 3,000 mah batteries. from directvapor.com
right now im vaping a baby beast at 60w with a .16 ohm coil.

i dont know if its the button or if im overextending the batteries, but it just does not fire sometimes when i press the button. i give it 3 secs then it starts firing again
the mod gets a bit warm but i see no warning indicator on the lcd.
are the samsung 30q good for my babybeast coils?

Just a quick thought without further information sounds like you have it set in temperature control and the protect is kicking in. All that is normal depending on your settings. You can set it in wattage mode and avoid that protection if you like.
