As you know, Joytech produces a model called the Joytech 18650, and uses an 18650 battery, of course. Joytech also produces an 18650 battery for this mod. I don't believe the mod will go above 3.3 volts and has the EGO type control unit. The Joytech 18650 battery is removable/replaceable, of course, and is 2200mah and is unprotected. Is it ECF's position that this battery should not be used with this APV because it is unprotected, or, is the protection built into the EGO type control unit?
Update: This MOD just arrived today. It says Ego-T Upgrade on it and two Joytech 18650 batteries came with it. It appears that it will do 3.3 or 4.1 volts just as the regular Ego-T Upgrade, and I have one of those too. Still, wondering about the unprotected Joytech 18650 battery though.
