Which Batteries?

I am anticipating the arrival of some new mods and had batteries from previous purchases.

What do you guys think about these batteries for these mods?

My concerns: It would appear that these batteries are unprotected meaning they are a no go for either mod Correct? I read a thread recently that suggested safe chemistry batteries were a better choice as they would not go out in a ball of fire. SO Safe chmistry or Protected batteries ?

lol on the Beuller comment..... I use AW IMR's in my SB all the time- They are considered 'safe(er) chemistry' batteries.

I only use AW IMR Batteries in any/all my mods. They offer the best performance, with minimal risk. The AW ICR Protected Li-ion batteries are a good choice as well.

Those IMR bats are about the safest out there, and the perfect bat for your SB.
If you are worried about them not being protected keep an eye on epipemod.com. Matt should have the fuse that attaches to the bottom of the bat (magnetic) out soon.
