I posted a thread for high wattage tc mod with firmware update. What I heard Most is rx200 and joytech cuboid. I prefered cuboid much more because its portability. However, I watched some review video last night. It seems cuboid TC function is not that good, especially in tc Ti mode (although I don't use ti coils). It needs to go higher temparature in order to produse the same amount of vape as those dna200 chip mod do. Can someone share some experience of cuboid with me? Or do you recommend other high wattage mod with SS tc function and upgradable firmware. I will appreciate it so much.

They have the very same boards in them so they can not be different. Rx200 takes 3 batteries and Cuboid takes two batteries. I stayed away from the RX200 because I did not want to buy 6 new batteries when I already have three sets of batteries married for duel battery mods. CHEERS!

Possibly after watching the exact same reviews, I decided that the Cuboid would be my next weapon of choice, partly for the same reasons as @wheelie and also because I liked the form factor. I already own the Presa TC75W and am familiar with the interface, so the Cuboid seemed like the logical "next step"; sure I watch the reviewers, but I don't always agree with their opinions - I get what suits me.

I own the Cuboid, and have used the TC mode. I haven't tried SS coils only Ni200. So I can not help you there. I had trouble to get the Flavor I was searching for, Vapor was there, but that was me being a noob and trying the ceramic Ccell coils!
After researching here and learning more about TC, I got the Favor and vapor!
Both the RX 200 and the Cuboid have the same chip in them, so it depends on what you want, 3 batteries or 2, large or small?

Thank you for the valuable advise. I will definitely go with cuboid.

No problem! Do not worry it is super easy to use, really both the RX 200 and the cuboid are, my friend has the RX.
I am too a noob, only have vaped for 5 months and off the smokes for 4! Still want a smoke, but everyday the urges are going away! I did a lot of research and can point you in the right direction, you'll fall into one of 2 groups, A FLAVOR chaser or a CLOUD chaser! Either one will be up to you! People have helped me here, so I owe it back and will gladly help! I have found it is best to ask questions because this can get expensive, try right away what you are looking for, Clouds/Flavor, by doing that, then you can chase the flavored juice and then the PG/VG for clouds or flavor! Another thing is the ATTY, rebuild-able or replacing coils? Tank or dripper?
Ask Away to any thread, or me and I will help!!

I just got the rx200 yesterday with the smok tvf4 my first set. Since I have nothing to compare with the set us reasonably sized and is heavy but I'm not a cigarette smoker anyway. Comming from shisha smoking hubby bubbly I think it's called in other areas. to me this is more portable

That is the same setup my friend has! The TVF4 is a cloud machine and a big lung hitter! He went too high on the nicotene and can not handle it! LOL, I might buy it from him? :2c: Yes it is heavy but believe it or not it weighs the same as my cuboid, the cuboid has a heavy metal frame around the batteries, why? I do not know, but both are close in weight.
Laughing out loud! Had to look up what a Shisha was? I call it a Hookah, I was introduced to my first Hookah on the Island of Cyprus on the beach. I forget what it was I was smoking in that thing, I know they had a menu for it! Still do not know what hubby bubbly is?

Thank you for this very valuable information. I started to vape with Aspire Nautilus Mini 4 months ago, I know this is a good devise for flavor chaser. But I thought I got fake one on ebay, the flavor is weird, like firing cotton. Then I decide to go with big cloud. Because I see most people in the states love those tank and produce a lot of cloud. And most recommendation that I got are tanks, not atomizer. I went to a lot of reputable sale website and ask customer service what tanks they can recommend to me. However, I also heard a concern from some friends that being a flavor chaser will be more helpful to quit smoke than being a cloud chaser. Anyway, I know nautilus mini is a very good device, and my bad experience with it is probably because the one I got is a counterfeit. However, I want to try those big cloud, it looks so cool, lol. Therefore, I got my current favorite tank, Uwell Crown with Eleaf 60w TC, this time both are authentic, lol. Because I want to try SS coils under TC mode, that's why I am asking about Cuboid. For me, it's easier to be away from smoking, I stopped smoking immediately when I start vaping. And now I feel very discusting when I smell people smoke, I tried two times to smoke, I hate the flavor and small vape it produced, :).
Do you think the concern that I heard from my friend is real: being a cloud chaser is not good for quitting smoke? I will keep in touch with you, since I will start to RDA when I vape longer. I heard it is fun and cheaper.

No problem for the advice, and I will help the best I can! I started out with the Eleaf TC 40 watt, and both Aspire Nautilus's mini and larger tank, have them both still as backups, or when recharging. I liked the flavor from the Nautilus's but I did not like the hard to hit draw, or what they call the MTL (mouth to lung)! So I went to the Aspire Triton 2, a sub ohm tank, very good tank to get a bigger cloud and a DLH (direct lung hit, or DLI Direct lung inhale).
This is when I no longer needed cigarettes (or analogs)! The Nautilus was not working for me, but that is me! With the Nautilus I was using Ejuice in high Nicotene 24mg (or 2.4%) basically the highest or close to the highest! But with the sub ohm it was way too much, burned my throat and lungs. I am now at 3mg nicotene, and a high VG in the juice, 80VG/20PG. It is working for me, but again that is me! :D

About your Nautilus! 1. Make sure all NEW coils are primed with juice before firing them! 2. those coils will get a burn taste fast if used at high wattage's. 3. cotton taste is present on all NEW coils, for a good 10 hits to a 1/4 tank, depends on the tank/coils? 4. Even the Ccell coils (Ceramic) have a weird taste being NEW and takes a little while to go away. 5. the Nautilus does not like the high VG juice, it does not wick fast enough and can get that dry hit/cotton/burnt taste.

I have not tried the Uwell Crown tank, but have heard very good things about them! The flavor and clouds are supposed to be good. So you got a winner there!

Now about clouds or flavor? Good question? It is up to you! What do you want? What ever it takes you to stay away from the analogs (cigarettes) is the best for you! It is a personal thing I guess! I am older than you, I am enjoying the Flavor, but I know the younger crowd likes to fill a room with a cloud! :thumb:
I do it here, my friend is still smoking here, does not bother me, it just makes me hate the smell and cigarettes more! He can not vape like me with out coughing, and I'll fill the house with vapor! Just to show him how easy it is, he's the one with the RX200 and a Smok TFV4? Trying to get him to quit!!! :D

Now as for my equipment?
Old stuff, don't really use, but good back ups! Eleaf istick TC40, Nautilus and Mini!
What I use now, Cuboid 150w, Triton 2 with Kanthal .9 Ccells (ceramic coils), Mad Hatter V2 RDA, Alliance V2 RDA by Fogwind.
New stuff on the way = Moonshot RDTA By Sigelei( got it today), Aromanizer Supreme RDTA by Steam crave, and a Tsunami RDA by Geek Vape, still waiting on those 2? I am hoping I will not need anymore stuff, well maybe one more mod? and I have not decided yet, get another Cuboid, or a DNA Box mod?

I do not know where you are from, but I know of some good online stores that I trust and they are cheap!

I like my Tanks or RDTA's because it is easier to drive and not have to drip the ejuice. But for flavor or clouds the RDA's are great!! Cheaper yes, plus you can quickly change the cotton and try new flavors without the mix of flavors, or ghosting they call it!
If and when you decide to go to a RDA here is a Great website on how to calculate your coils and ohms and even how to mix your own juice ratio's!
Here it is = Coil wrapping
