I am in a quandary over which of these mods to get. There seems to be pluses on both of these, but I need some feedback here..
Please help me make a good informed decision.. I already have the Ego One 2200 mah, and enjoy the sub ohm vaping and wanted to get into these :matrix: mod's....

Same as above ^^

Though eVic VTC-mini does not have the color options available in the nano,
it has become quite stable now with firmware upgrades.

It's form factor, regular Firmware upgrades, Temperature Control, Price, Device build quality
makes it a good buy.

The issue I have with the evic mini is, that I am not sure if it is to advanced for me to use.I have studied both of these mod's and love Joytech, but it looks a tad complicated, but I am still out on the verdict and appreciate all the feedback..

Ah hell, I've had the VTC since day one (I are edumacated two) and even I got tripped up by one selection click pattern of the latest update (3.0). Big deal. It's simpler than any major component of the computer software you're using to browse this forum.

YOU WILL ADAPT! RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!

VTC gets a thumbs up from me as well. :D
(HypnEvic told me to type that :()

I'm also curious about Kangers new product offerings, but honestly it's mostly the draw of top-fill tanks.
I can do fine without their mods (as good as they are... it's mainly an esthetic preference).

I got mine yesterday plugged it in to the computer did the update and started messing with it. Once I figured out the way the menu works it was a breeze.

3 clicks of fire button to go to settings
Down button to scroll down
Up button to change settings

That's pretty much it. Any questions you may have would be answered here quickly.

When looking at vendors, I noticed that some are selling the vtc that has 60w capacity and some are 75 w, is one newer version than the other?
It's the same device, just with updated firmware. Newer kits come with the Tron tank instead of the Ego One Mega, but from what I've understood those two are very similar.

You're gonna get a VTC, aren't you? :p

There are a lot of new designs coming in the next several weeks, from a lot of the big players.
And while you may get one of them, now, soon or later, I can honestly say the VTC I've got right here holds it's own with all my dozen other mods. There are limits to what more can be added through updates, but damn... there've already been five releases in less than two months.
If nothing else... JoyeTech is finally on top of their update program.
The VTC, iStick200 (Reuleaux RX) and the upcoming VTC cousin Cuboid 150w should all be winners for it.

(HypnEvic made me type all that)

I am leaning that way, but kinda apprehensive with all the settings, which is why I was considering the topbox by Kanger..

The varied options/settings available would be daunting or too many at first,
but later you will find them to be quite easy ...a 3 click selection change ...within a day.

It is much better to have options to easily change and customize
Temperature Control , Power etc., then not to have them when you are advancing in your vape
experience.

It is easier to operate then our current smart phones, computers.

I get more confused with the current launderette machine options...
load selection, fabric selection, cycle selection...pre-wash, pre-rinse......pre-meditate.

The big display shows you whatever you have set it to and whatever it is doing as per your wishes.

the "topbox" by kanger?

I own the Evic VTC mini and the Kanger Subox Mini. BOTH are grrreat mods for the price.
I like the EVIC's shape and it's screen better than the subox mini, but other than that, the subox mini is GREAT!
(it's even a bit heavier than the evic mini) I love both mods but would buy the evic mini if i HAD to choose 1.

IDK what the "topbox" is, but if it is the subox nano kit (which comes w/the nano tank, rather than the subtank mini) i would definitely recommend you buy the subtank mini kit, over the nano kit. the subtank mini kit comes with the subtank mini, which comes with the rebuildable platform, which the nano tank does-not.

EITHER mod (the evic mini, or the kanger subox mini) are going to do you well... but, the joye evic mini does have the upgradability, and, you can upgrade it to 75w, compared to the static 60w of the subox mini mod. trust me, both mods are of good quality. i just really like the screen on the evic mini, and, i TRUST joyetech a little bit more than I trust kanger. but from what i have seen and felt within my own two hands, BOTH mods are made with sturdy materials, neither have rattle, neither have askewed screens.. both mods are just... great mods. Probably the best two small-sized mods of today. (which is why i wound up with them - I AM plumes.91 after-all, and I usually wind-up buying the most popular mods of the day. ;) lol) definitely enjoy whichever you grab, and enjoy the vape journey.

Just... don't grab that "nano" kit, if you DO go with kanger. It's the same mod, but, the tank has no rebuildable platform, unless you buy a foreign-made RBA platform for the nano tank on Fasttech, which, i wouldn't recommend either :p
