how long should you let them steep? This was my 1st order of juice ever, I haven't even got my vaporizer yet got stuck in customs.

Depends on the flavours. Some of Jugheads juice is good on day one, others need at least 6 weeks IMO.

Also why is it stuck in customs ? Unless you got something really fancy from out of the country there are tons of vendors in Canada that carry pretty much anything you need.

Hi,

I'm looking for advice from regular Juggy customers.
I've only been vaping for a bit over 2 weeks and so far only had vaped 70/30 that I had ordered from Canvape.
Yesterday, I received my first order from Juggy's which consist of 14 small bottles from which, 12 of them are from his VG X-treme flavours.
I read that VG juices won't give as much of a throat hit but will be better in vapor production and taste. That's why I wanted to give them a try.

I know that some of the juices require steeping but I had to try at least a couple right of the bat.
The first thing I noticed is that the liquid doesn't seem thicker than the other 70/30 juices I tried. I expected them to be thicker but these are my first VG juices so maybe my expectations were wrong.
So I put brand new coils on both my Evod and Protank 2, load the Evod with Jokesmoke 2.0 and the protank with dynominty.
I found both liquids to have good vapor production BUT very little taste.
Then I remember reading somewhere that with BCCs and VG juices, some people remove 1 and even sometimes both of the flavor wicks and claim that the flavor is drastically improved. So I opened the Evod, removed 1 of the wicks, put it back together and started to vape. The damn thing started to lick everywhere!!!! Liquid started to go through the breathing hole, into my mouth, into the battery... and I lost about 1.5ml of liquid. I didn't try with the protank as the coils are pretty much identical.

Can I get some advice from members that use his VG X-Treme liquids with similar BBCs? Is there something that I am doing wrong or that I should do differently? Is it particular to the 2 juices that I tried?
I don't know if it's because I had high expectations from both Juggy or VG juices but I'm sad to say that I was very disappointed. I have another 12 flavors to try so I'd rather improve something before I try.

Thanks.

A lot of Juggy's juices are very subtle, which is exactly why I love them so. When I first started out I probably might have been a bit disappointed, since I was just coming off the smokes and would have needed something strong. After vaping for a while, I now prefer a hint of tobacco and mild flavours much, much more. Plus tastebuds come back. Mind you, not all of Juggy's juices are mild. Jokesmoke is one of the mildest juices he has. Dynominty is pretty minty so not sure why you wouldn't have tasted it. VG does have flavour, sometimes lots.

It could be your gear as well, not discounting that. Could just be the comparison between Jugheads and Canvape juices. Let some of the juices steep, turn up the heat and spend some time hanging out with the flavours...

I guess I was more used to the stronger taste (maybe from the previous 70/30 mixes). Over a day later and I seem fine with them now.
Some juices definitely need steeping. I was looking forward to try the Grunts Vanilla custard and it wasn't very good. I'll leave the cap off for a few days and we'll see then.

One thing is for sure, removing a wick on my Evod with VG juices didn't do it for me, it just leaked everywhere. Maybe Juggy's VGs are not as thick as other vendors, I dunno.

He thins his VG with something , not sure what it is , most people use distilled water or alcohol.

As for steeping , I'd say a minimum of three to five days with anything. Cap off for the first day or so and some hot water baths will speed it along. Some juices need longer. My current bottle of Grunts Vanilla Custard is tasting great, but it needs at least six weeks IMO.

OK, thanks for the info.
When you say 6 weeks, does it mean that you keep on shaking the bottles everyday for 6 weeks or you just do that for the first couple of days and then let them sit?

My plan of attack for steeping is:
- shaking well for 30s upon arrival
- Shaking again the following day and then take the caps off for a couple of days
- Put the caps back on and shake well again and then let them sit (at least when I'm not using them :D)

Does that seem correct?

although I don't have jughead juice... yet... (plan to order from them eventually)
I have a hook attached to my dryer... and have all the e-liquids that I have steeping in a bag attached to it...
I don't have to remember to shake them at all

as for leaving the caps off... well that may not be necessary...
you only need to do that if they contain alcohol.
from the veterans thread for a question I asked
Question about steeping juices in confined space, will they cross flavor

Yeah something like that. I give them special treatment for the first few days , then the cap goes on and they all sit in a room temperature cupboard. If you want to speed steep you can leave bottles in your glove box in your car, but that more applies just in the summer months.

I think I'm addicted to Juggy's juices after one order. I had been vaping about 1 ml a day before last week - and had trouble ditching the last odd analog. Since Friday I've gone up to 2-3 ml with trying juices and having some of my non-Juggy ones.

Putting together an order for tomorrow and there are way too many that interest me! My really really want list works out to around 400ml! It's going to be tough to limit it!

I have one question... I have already tried the Beavertails brown sugar & lemon and love it. Want to get a 30 ml tomorrow. But I want to try one of the other Beavertails in 10 ml. The wishlist won't let me add the 2nd one. Do any of you know if the live shopping cart will?

I'm trying out Carnival Cotton Candy and unless there was a mistake with my order it seems very very similar to JokeSmoke, like pretty much the exact same from what I recall of JS. Maybe the CCC is a tad sweeter? Anyone else find this?

that's cause jokesmoke is light cotton candy :p (aka ethyl maltol in a lighter concentration)

Here's my initial thoughts on Juggy's Juices.

Keep in mind a few things
- I've only been vaping for 3 weeks
- The first 2 weeks I vaped 70pg/30vg juices and the ones I ordered from Jughead are all vg
- These juices haven't really steeped since I got them on Monday so I only tried about 1ml of each.

I don't know if it's specific to jughead, specific to VG juices, the fact that they haven't steeped enough or a combination of all of the above but I found that most juices I've tried were very light in flavor.
As another member mentioned, some are to be expected like in the Jokesmoke but on others, I was expecting a strong flavor (for example with KaramelApple and Grunt Vanilla custard). The only 2 that I found having a full flavor so far are H20 Melonz and Oooh Cola.

Here's what I've tried so far
Jokesmoke 2.0: subtle and pretty good, light sweetness at the end, pretty sure that's the way it's supposed to taste.
Ry4x4: subtle and pretty good, didn't really taste caramel or vanilla
Yum Yum Ry4: subtle and pretty good, didn't really taste caramel or vanilla
Dynominty: subtle, not a very strong mint taste, pretty sure that's the way it's supposed to taste.
H20 Melonz: nice watermelon taste, pretty sure that's the way it's supposed to taste.
Oooh Cola-la: strong sour cola candy taste, pretty sure that's the way it's supposed to taste.
MMM Toffe: didn't taste toffee at all
Grunts vanilla custard: very, very faded taste of vanilla and custard
Karamel Apple: light apple taste, didn't taste caramel

Here's what I have left to try:
Rich KaraMello`Bacco Perfection
Karamel Kafe
Nor`Leans Banana Foster
Swedish Pastry Plus
Coquito creamy caramel Flan

The good news though is that since the flavor is very light, none of them taste awful and all are easy to vape :D
Now mind you, as I said, some probably need steeping and I'm also not used to VG juices (for example, I'm comparing them to Halo Malibu and coffee mocha which are 70/30 and both are really strong in flavor)

Anyway, I'll update in a week or so if any of those got much better.
