Is it just me, or do 100% VG juices taste "soapy" to anyone else?

I knew what you were talking about but it took a while to remember where I had tasted it before. Cherry flavors with high VG taste "soapy" to me (even my own DIY stuff @ 50/50) but I have given the same juice to others and they love it!

I guess it's just a personal taste thing going on for us?!

terranq i can happily say today that a DCT will work most awesome on the pistol mod

I second XP 3 fight Enginbeer's comment. I ordered some cherry tobacco stuff and it was and still is after more than a month like that and I think it is 70/30.

I spoke with a few DIY'rs who have said alot (most?) cherry stuffz ( flavouring ) can cause that

Definitely a post pulling thing. It's the eGo adapter that does it. They have a habit of pushing the center post on the carto in.

Odd question, but do you find cilantro has a strong soapy taste? I'm wondering if it's one of those "supertaster" symptoms.

If you do, then I might have to throw my Ch'cherry Bacco up on the classifieds... Just have to wait and see, I guess.

I have never tried anything with cilantro (as far as I Know) so I can't help you there.

I don't think I am a "supertaster". I've been told I "taste good", but never "super"! Lol

Oh I absolutely agree with that too!

I think that very much holds true even for liquids in general, when it comes to individual things/taste. There are juices that others love that I dislike, even if it is on my vaping palette , and I generally like that particular flavour.

Best case senario for reviews of juice is to give me a rough idea if it has a remote chance of being something I would like and from there I get a sample and see.

Just got another batch of Jugheads to test out, mostly all of his new flavors. Will post some thoughts on the flavors shortly.

Flavors I got were:

Honey Badger Tobacco - Nice sweet flavor mixed with a mild tobacco flavor, massive throat hit even at 12 mg. Was quite pleasantly surprised with this one as I usually am a fruit vapor.

True North Menthol - As an ex menthol smoker, there is still a small piece of me that enjoys a nice menthol vape. This one is very woodsy and has a very nice menthol which isnt too overpowering. So far the closest juice to simulating a real cig.

Joke Smoke 2.0 - Still on the fence with this one, just like in the other thread here, slightly sweet on the exhale, not a very strong vape for sure. Could see this one as a palette cleanser of sorts.

Nana Nutty Bread - Very similar to the N'Orlean Foster flavor. Little more nutty for sure. Banana flavor is a little on the artificial side for my liking. Compared to TV's uber sweet Banana Nut Bread flavor, this one is a little scaled back on the sweetness which is a plus. If you like the TV version, you should like this one too.

Cocoa Mint - Almost identical to the now discontinued Minty Chip Kookee. Nice chocolate and nice mint. Not too much else to say about this one.

Blueberry Lemonade (organic) - So far, the best of the lot in my opinion. Of course I tend to like fruit vapes a lot. I've been hooked on 2 juices of late, Tangerine Lemonade and Cherry Limeade both from Daniel at GRBC. This will be the 3rd in the rotation of citrus flavors. Very nice lemonade flavor thats not as sweet as the TV one from GRBC, and nice blueberry undertone. A+

Mocha CheezKake - As a chessecake lover as far as foods go, cant quite say the same about it as a vape. Taste is heavy on the cream cheese, and nice undertone of chocolate. Tastes just like it should, so if you like any cheesecake vapes, give this one a go for sure. Not for me though.

Bavarian Oh Clair - This one is a very interesting juice. Can definitely taste the bavarian cream part, along with some notes of vanilla, and seemingly some sort of pastry. Not quite the same pastry as the swedish pastry but good none the less. I think this one might grow on me as its pretty tasty.

When I tasted Honey Badger I got more of a taste of a fruity flavour than tobacco.. more of a mango and pear combo flavour strong on the nose and on initial taste with a smokey sweet finish.

I was going to describe it like this to see if I could get fisherpal to choke again

...kinda like if a pear and a mango had a sweaty night of passion, lit a smoke and then that night were poured into a bottle...

The better half loves it and you are spot on with the TH surprised me with being an all VG juice for 12mg

Argh!!!! so uncool then.....i know for the longest time i did not look on how to do it as i thought pulling the post meant pulling the center post pin of the ego battery i am guessing the standard paper clip will not work for this trick then? i have a 3ohm stardust that i am thinking is dead as a door nail, and if this works i am going to either offer someone to kick my or i will do it myself, as i tossed all my other star dusts that i thought where gone to the great atty in the sky

The paperclip thing should work fine. Like the center post on devices, the center post on cartos/clearos is surrounded by a soft insulator, so you shouldn't have any problem. Just be gentle with it.

Damn ... you're good! I think your taste buds and mine just have somehow been cloned from the same batch. Except that I lack the ability to actually identify what it is that I am tasting - all I can do is go ... umm, that's real tasty! Now I will, of course, have visions of pears and mangos doing the fruity foxtrot whenever I vape this one. Still can't help but think 'curry' with the 555 +5 - good thing I like curry, hee, hee.

I know we all have different taste buds (strangely, I always find cherry more tart than sweet), but we still can get an idea of what we like. It's nice to read descriptions, not just ....I don't like or I love it a lot. The honey badger has definitely got my interest now! Hmmm.

I'm at the point of risking a carto for a much loved liquid. Sometimes it is just worth it Speaking of cartos, clearos etc. When will they bring something out that can handle a hearty vape. I'm growing a little disappointed, especially when there are batteries lrg enough to power space craft.

It is definitely on the darker side, but much lighter than the original. It's a lot more transparent than the original, maybe a tad thinner too. Will fill up a cart tonight and see how it goes. With the original one, it wouldn't even absorb into the carto with out a little help, super thick juice.

Lol, love the analogy! For me it kinda reminded me of when I was a kid and sick, my grandma would make me a tea with a massive spoonful of honey. Has a real nice taste to it. I can definitely see how fruit could be one of the flavorings though...will have to vape more

Just had my first few vapes of Swedish Pastry Plus (it's been steeping for close to three weeks) and in my limited experience, this is the most complex, diverse vape that I have ever had and I LOVE IT!! I'm picking up four different flavours, some strong and some accents, with a possible fifth accent flavour. Absolutely amazing vape
