I apologize for spamming in the thread here, but I just have a lot to say tonight.

Do you guys think many American's have tried Jugheads? I wonder if they have any vendors that are similar (I've never successfully ordered juice from the states and am not going to try again). I think many people, like myself until recently, wrote off all VG juices because many people claim there's no throat hit. To me, the throat hit is fine, although that may be because I'm using either 18 or 24mg.

I've never tried the swedish pastry, but have heard it's good from a couple of sources. Pretty sure mindfield/vaporchase/Eric did a review on it. Although... I can't recall him ever not liking a juice. Maybe just the reviews I've watched.

When it comes to Jugheads, I've liked the vast majority of them. Only a few haven't really tickled my fancy -- but that was a matter of personal taste, not necessarily quality. Outside of Jugheads though, yeah... there have been a number I didn't care for, and a few I outright hated.

Swedish Pastry is awesome though, and even more awesome when mixed with Razzleberry.

Sweet, I'll have to try that. I ordered 10ml of Razzleberry.

There are many vendors in the USA that are very similar to jug heads from what i gather with the contacts i have made there. I am curious which company it was that turned out to be a order fail for you?

Off topic again...

Just got in my first tank (Phiniac) today, used a tap valve on my cartos to punch the holes on both sides. Followed a video where he says "just until it pops", so I have 2 little holes.

I'm using all VG "Straight Shooter" for juice in it. Every 5-10 puffs I'm getting the burnt taste and having to draw on it a few times without activating the PV. Also, the taste is quite different from when I was using just straight cartos.

Does anyone know from experience if I should have made the holes just a tad larger and why the juice would taste different? Am I ever so slightly burning the carto every time I vape to change the taste?

Just thought I'd ask before I start making a sloppy mess with juice all over the place.

I order from US juice vendors more than from Canadian juice vendors. I like Canadian vendors but don't want to restrict myself :D I've had probably a hundred juice orders from the US and I've never had an issue. One of my current faves in the US is Backwoods Brew. Damn good juice.

As for Jugheads in the US, I think that probably the only people who've tried it have been the folks living in the US who've won the 50ml juice draw from Jugheads on Vape Skool. Other than that, I doubt they have a customer base in the US, but you never really know!

For your tank it sounds like you need more/bigger holes. I've used tanks for about 5months and the first 3 of them were hard. I had a ton of problems but now they're all I use because I figured out exactly how many/how big of holes to punch for different juice ratios. I find the best method for punching a carto for the wicking of any juice is to make 2 holes. One on one side, low, just above the bottom cap, and one punched high, about 3/4 way up the carto inside the tank. That is what I have found to wick best when full and when under half full. Obviously bigger holes for VG. Sometimes I will even punch 2 small holes low on opposite sides, then a large hole high up on one of the remaining hole-free sides so that I have a punch on 3 "sides'.

My very first order. A $200 order from V2. They held it at the border for over a month and then finally sent me a notice saying I was a bad boy and cannot smuggle nicotine into the country.

Shhh... I'm trying to tell myself it's not possible to order juice from the US. That way I might save some money?

well shoot in the interest in helping out another vaper......though it is totally fictitious

There is no possible way to order juice the states. Customs will grab it each and every time and seize it. Just like the hockey teams of Canada (like Vancouver Canucks or Winnipeg jets are much stronger, so is the juice content of Canada, and it is by far better to order from Canada where you get the wonderful reckless throat hit

:D there help done

Hehehe well, I will say as well that the pricing in the US is extremely competitive. I just put in an order about 400ml of juice and it was less than $100 with free shipping. Most US vendors also charge about half as much as Canadian vendors because it only costs half as much to ship across the border as it does to ship domestically in Canada (DAMN YOU CANADA POST!!! :glare:). But honestly if you're happy with your juice in Canada, why worry? I just am a giant juice ..... and need to try as much as I possibly can. I just get bored with flavours really quick  lol

Not sure if you did or not but make sure you fill up the carto as well, but ya as Chelly said bigger holes are probably in order especially since you are 100%VG. I love carto tanks, I am wondering why i bought 75 normal cartos LOL, I need to get a shorty tank :/

After I posted, I kinda thought I should have mentioned that. Yes, I did fill it up. Hastily though, so probably about 15 drops or so.

Oh, BTW for anyone who is interested in Boge cartos, I found a great vendor who sells 25 for $23 and has free shipping. I got them in the mail earlier this week and I can tell that they are legit.

Surevapes.com

P.S. Keep in mind that the silver ones have shorter condoms that don't fit snugly. So no condom fill method with those. The blacks are fine though.

Whoa, sounds like I need more tanks for experimentation purposes. BigDaddyVapors is next on the list. Really want that filling tool they have.

Seeing as i do not know if those tanks take normal carts or not, i will have to say you need cmac's word on this one, however I have two smoktech tanks (one black and one aluminum) and got two cartomizers for them from Vaporus, and with jug heads they vape like a dream. I am not sure if it is due to the fact that the filling is shorter (and lower in the cart), but i found when i was filling my tanks there was no need to pre-fill the carts, as it seems a better vacuum seal was created and it was filled by itself.....so now if they are cleaned and dried it is a simple matter of fill tank, and vape away, no more worries. glad a ordered a few extra ;)

Another think i noticed like i said is i only use jug heads in them, is that the 100% VG does not seem to be a issue with the single hole. But then again even if i use it on the dragon totem ego's (fully charged i get 4.3V then dips no lower then 3.9V) and on the large shinny thing (4.4V all the way) again no issue. I do get slight burnt taste (as they are LR carts) on the Box mod (steady 6V)

That's the interesting part....I too have issues with pg, but I'm able to vape the organic occasionally, without issue. I don't know why? Unless, there is more vg in it? It is mentioned as a 50/50 blend. I now wonder if they did, or can do a vg organic juice. I will have to ask.

No need to ask, i found it on their web site, and it was tiny print :p so with the help of Fire Fox and ctrl and pressing + i was able to magnify the page and found this under the organic line:

Ingredients :VG USP 99.5%/Nicotine Fema/Gras Approved/Natural/Organic Flavorings/Mc'Lovin'

if that is the case and with only a .5% of pg? that falls well under the triggers for a allergy......again thanks for the heads up

Have you yet tried a tank with a fill port? I highly recommend the Submarine tank from Mom & Pop Vapor shop, The Triple V Pyrex from Valley Vapes, and anything from Phiniac :) I got the Tank Tools kit from Phiniac and I went from pure frustration trying to fill my tanks without fill ports to pure bliss. Here's a link, the punch is AWESOME as well. Really handy and easy to carry around if you need to. Punches a really tiny hole or a really large hole or anything in between. Phiniac Tank Kit - Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks

I also have a VPX Cartomator tank which I love but wouldn't pay full price for (look on classies here, got mine in a trade, real cheap).

Agree Chelly. That fill port is extremely convenient and a no-mess, no-fuss feature. It's hard to go back once you get used to this.

Here are some European alternatives; I wrote this in another thread recently:

Kir Fanis Tripolitis and Trap tanks.

The pics don't even begin to describe the craftsmanship of these art pieces. Absolutely first class machining and construction. You really have to hold one in your hand to understand.

The clear tanks have frosted top/bottom lips and an interior ledge upon which the o-rings sit securely. The design also includes top nuts for easy filling and less wear and tear on the o-rings. Just brilliant.

Clear tanks also more resistant to aggressive juices than typical polycarbonate.

I'd say today's vape mail was pretty nice.

I've heard a lot of nice things about the Mom and Pop tanks. Never did like the Phiniac due to its width.
These Kir Fanis tanks are simply outstanding in every way. The ledges on the interior are very clever as
they promote proper expansion of the o-ring against tank interior, creating a bullet-proof seal.
Highly recommended.
