There are a few varieties of Jokesmoke. One is vaguely tobacco, the original, the rest are flavoured.

Wild Honey Badger and Jungle juice are my favourite tobaccos from Juggies

What's jungle juice like ? "Rich Tobacco & A Good Pinch of AwesomeSauce" .. Very unhelpful description.

Have you tried the black honey organic ? I like that and wild honey badger, but didn't really care for his RY4, 555, caramel or cherry tobacco. I ordered straight shooter and fogstar - I'm still trying to find a jugheads tobacco I like more.

I honestly cannot describe Jungle Juice lol, it's good though, rich, not too sweet, not very spicy, just good. About as useful as Juggie's description :/

I like his VG RY4 better than original RY4, but that's very spicy. I haven't tried any of the others you mentioned as I felt as though they may be too tobacco for my tastes, I prefer a more subtle tobacco, although I am tempted by Fogstar.

So I have been trying out some of the juices that I ordered, and I am quite impressed! The clear winners out of the ones I have tried so far are VG Swedish Pastry Plus / VG RY4 / Classic JokeSmoke... Classic Beetell Joose comes in next, then VG Wild Honey Badger, Organic Cinnamon Bunz then VG Scrumptious Apple Cinnamon.

Very nice vapes... all of the flavours had a great amount of vapour! I steeped them all for a few days and then I couldn't resist trying them... besides I needed to open up some air space in their containers in order to steep properly! I had no other choice seeing how they come so fully filled, tasting was necessary!

Many more flavours from the order to try out yet, I really should have bought an atomizer to drip with, only have cartomizers/Vivi's/Stardusts.... next order I guess.... but that may be more than 6 months away judging by the full shelf of juice!:vapor:

Also, I had a 5ml sample pack from another vendor awhile back and when comparing to Juggy's bottles, there is definitely more than twice the amount in Juggy's 10ml bottles than in the other vendors 5ml bottle, even if Juggy's weren't filled to the brim (which they are!):toast: Juggy's are almost twice the height, but also larger diameter... plus much better juice.

Hello,

A favour to ask...

I was wondering if anyone using vivi novas with jughead's juices could tell me what their experiences are.
The reason I'm asking in this forum is that it has to be specific to their high vg juices (vg extremes, organics with at least 50% or more vg).

Just to be clear, I know it is not the juices and I love jugheads to death. My problem with the vivi's is that they're just so inconsistent. Once in a while I get that magical vape where everything is just right (lots of vapour, great flavour, nice taste). Most of the time it's thin, flavourless and sometimes burnt.

My vivi novas are driving me nuts!
- 2 minis, 1 regular (from 2 different vendors, not 100% sure if they're legit or knock offs)
- used with ego twists
- tried all heads (1.8, 2.4, 2.8)
- tried shortening the wicks
- tried notching the caps
- did the twirl

Also, I'm a 3 week noob and only have an ego-c to compare to so I'm pretty sure it is something I'm doing.

Thanks!

Hey gmpc welcome to the ECF. In response to your observations I agree it goes from nirvana to great and sometimes hit and miss with the Vivi Nova. In my opinion its not the juice, and to a certain extent not the VN, its the User. What I mean by that the following:

1. The coils tend to get gunked up and a cleaning once in a while might help
2. Failing which a rebuild would be in order or simply a "head change".

So I believe that its up to us to keep our gear operational and clean that way we will get a consistent hit.

Just got my second order. More Black Licorice and Swedish Pastry Plus..... and he upped my trial sizes of Maple Tobac Classic Canuck and Wild Honey Badger to 10ml! Sweet! Also sent a bonus 10ml of JokeSmoke Twista, which is quite funny, because I debated trying it to..... Juggy reads minds! ;)
I had intended to just set this order aside somewhere cozy and dark to steep until my current stock of open bottles dwindles a bit, but curiosity got the better of me. I tore into the Maple Tobac to try a few drops. (From now on, all new tasting happens via dripping!) I think I like it!

As Projectguy has stated, it is more likely something to do with the way you are using them, but possible they are fake Vivi's too I guess. I have three Vivi Nova's (one v2.5 and two v3's, same thing from what I can tell) and haven't had an issue with them at all. I haven't notched the plastic cap, or shortened the wicks.. mine were all bought from the same vendor (Canvape) and I only need to twirl them when they are really low on juice. I am also using them on Twists... I used only one Vivi until last week and didn't change the first head until after it had been used for almost 5 weeks. I am a newb as well, and have used the Vivi Nova's since the 2nd day of vaping.

I wasn't sure after reading your post if you had tried turning down the Twist's voltage setting.... For the lower ohm head (1.8ohm) you may need to turn down the Twist below 4v, some juices I had were fine above that but others tasted burnt. Maybe your Vivi Nova's are not authentic, who knows? Maybe the heads are not accurate ohm ratings or its possible the vendor sent you the wrong style heads (i.e stardusts for vivi novas, not sure if they would still fit though)... look up pictures on these forums, some threads are all about fake Vivi's and how to spot them.

Cleaning is important... I wash mine out after changing a juice or after the second refill... just take it all apart and rinse the works of it under hot water... I rinse the head and all and then dry with paper towel and blow through the bottom to get any water that may be stuck inside the center post, let it stand for awhile and then do a dry burn (not using the tank, just the center post and atomizer head on the battery and fire it until the coil glows red and no more smoke appears, 5 second fires at around 4v)... put it all back together and refill it.

I haven't had an issue with my 50/50 juices from any vendor, not even the 100%VG juices from Juggy.

I only use my Vivis with Juggies.

The 2 things that come to mind are:

1) You could be using too high a voltage. I'd say start the 1.8ohm head around 3.4v, the 2.4ohm head at 3.7v and the 2.8ohm head at 4v and try going up from there slowly until you find a sweet spot(mines about 3v higher than what I suggested you start at to give you an idea).

2) The heads could be dirty, here's a quick guide on cleaning them :)

If both of those don't help, then maybe Vivis aren't for you and you could try the Kanger T2s, Cartomizers, Cartos in tanks etc. Not everyone actually loves the same accessories when vaping, although we all wish there was something that was perfect and easy to maintain :)

Been doing more sampling.... and I realize that things might change with steeping and storing..... but first impressions are:

Maple Tobac.... has possibilities.... I seem to like the tobacco flavors with hints of warm yumminess like vanilla/caramel/chocolate (I have a current fave Ry4 that I just keep coming back to.... still curious to try others tho!). This seems to fit my profile for a vapable tobacco flavor..... more sampling will be necessary ;)

Wild Honey Badger.... weird, but possibly wonderful! Don't laugh, but it TOTALLY reminds me of puffing double apple shisha!! It's been forever since I got to do that, so now I wish I could try it again for comparison. It's not like it's "just like" it.... just completely reminds me of it. Heh. Has a bit of a floral-ness to it, but in this flavor, that kind of works. I think I might grow to like this... one of those flavors that caught me right off guard and wasn't at all what I expected, although I'm not sure I know what I expected!

JokeSmoke Twista.... not too sure about this one. Not that it's baaaad.... just more of a personal taste thing. I keep seeing Mr.Clean's face when I puff this stuff....

---- pause -----

yup.... just returned to the Honey Badger, and I'm having double-apple shisha flashbacks *giggles*

Yes Madam there is something about that RY4 that keeps me coming back for more. But I loves the 7 Burp and the Green Apple

I'm reluctant to try the 7burp.... I seem to process citrusy flavors as cleaning products lol.... just a weird trait of my palate I suppose. The green apple might be a nice fresh flavor to shake things up a little though. I'm finding I do need a break from the caramelly, butter-toffee, chocolate, and vanillas I seem to gravitate to.

I tried the orange cream and it's really light..the taste is good but it doesn't feel like you're doing anything..it's 12 mg nic also..maybe when I get my spinner it'll be ok fired at 4.8v..i'm using standard resistance CE3's and a SR atty to try it so maybe it needs more of a push than my tobacco flavours..my battery is hitting it at 4.2v though so don't know if an extra .6v will do anything..

What everyone said, possibly clones, cleaning, twirling, etc. I don't think it was mentioned, but have you tried adding a drop or two of distilled water or PG if you have it ? Sometimes the thicker VG juices will have problems wicking, this shouldn't happen with the 50% VG though.

Just got a package from jugheads, but I missed it and I've gotta go pick it up tomorrow. Does he require signatures over $100 ? Never had to sign before.

I've had it happen once when they delivered a parcel from him and I wasn't there, they made me go and fetch it. Normally they just leave it at my door though. My package was under $100 as well, so that's probably less Juggies and more CanPost

Really appreciate all the help and advice for my vivi woes. Did all of them so that means it could either be user error, clones, unrealistic expectations or as Samyaza pointed out - "they're just not for me". Actually never thought about the last point so frustrating it may be, at least I'm getting to know my vaping habits and preferences (I NEED A PROVARI :) jk).

I'm going to chalk this one up to user error for now and give the novas a rest. I'll try the kangers along with just plain dripping. The best thing about all this is that I'm still on the journey and analog free!! Thanks to all you guys/gals in this forum!

Now on to my next order before jugheads closes the site again...

Agreed about you needing a provari. I've tried everything under the sun and I'm back where I stared a couple years ago the good ol trusty carto tank can't go wrong with them IMO

Funny how that works, hey. I have done the same thing - every device and rebuildable I could get my hands on and have recently gone back the simplicity of tanks on my VV mods or my Reo Grands when I really want easy. Still tinker with other stuff when I feel like it but for reliability, simple is so much more relaxing.
