okay so I've been trying to get my dad to quit smoking and start vaping. his biggest complaint on all the juices I've had him try is there too sweet. does anybody have a good suggestion on a tobacco juice that is not sweet I don't know if it's just the PG and VG that is sweet and you can't get rid of it or what.
brands and links to where I can buy them would be greatly appreciated.
thanks everybody

Welcome, Josh!

As a 40+ year Marlboro smoker, I was looking for a similar experience to my vaping endeavor. I've found a really good "local" supplier with some really nice "house blends" in Lincoln, Nebraska (and now Omaha). I like and have been using their Mellow Blend for some time and just picked up a bottle of their new "Reds" juice this week. Their description says "A complex tobacco blend, designed to please Marlboro fans". I've only tried it at their tasting bar (0 nic), but am anxious to break into the 12 nic bottle I bought. Check it out at: E-Liquids by Flavor - Tobaccos - Generation V

FYI, a bit sweeter, but my all time favorite so far is their Funky Monkey (now changed to Ape S__t)!

thanks guys I think that's what I'm have to do is just take him to the local shops and let him try em all. I've let him try so many of my different tobacco flavor I'm not a big tobacco flavor fan anymore and every single one too sweet to sweet the guy sits there and eats candy bars and popsicles and fudgesicles like it's going out of style but a little bit of sweetness to a juice is too much for him haha

A really 'ashtray' tasting flavor would be 555 from pretty much any manufacturer, not sweet at all and tastes just like licking an old ashtray, okay maybe not really but it comes close. Then perhaps try to look for RY2 or RY4, those are a bit sweeter but with a tobacco base and a caramel sidenote, like some fancier cigars. For RY, the number behind 'RY' tells the sweetness of the liquid, RY1 is the least sweet with stronger tobacco whileas RY8 is the sweetest of them, with more caramel than tobacco, a good midpoint with a hint of caramel would be RY2-4

I recommend you and your Dad visit your local vape shop and sample their flavors at their juice bar.

Seconded; "What non-sweet tobacco's do you have" is the way to go, once he knows he likes a 555 he can start branching out to find one he loves. I'd also say not to just look at marlboro replacements and such; I've known cigar people who fall in love with a pipe liquid and marlboro people fall in love with a cigar liquid (though often marketed differently).

White Cloud's Regular Tobacco Flavor (not Bora Bora or Apache) doesn't taste sweet to me. It's a kind of dry, ashtray sort of taste. But they only sell pre-filled or disposables, so it might not work with his set up if he has a mod. I do think their carts work on other KR808s, but I'm not sure. I've tried a bunch of Backwood's Brew tobacco flavors and I don't remember Casanova being too sweet.
