So generally I get about three days out of a given carto, whether it be Boge, Kanger, Smoketech, whatever. First day is usually tasty, second functional, third flavorless, fourth - dead. Imagine my surprise when, after receiving a juice order from vapeBig, loading up my last 2 ohm Boge XL, and vaping one, two, three, four, five, six, (gasp), seven days the thing's still fuming like a champ! Thinking it must be a fluke, I filled up a Smoktech mega (I can usually measure their lives in nanoseconds) and... same result. Wow! Really? C'mon.

Naturally this leads me to believe that it may be way more about the juice than anything else (all other factors being equal). I've been using vapeBig's Vap-a-ccino (very tasty) so I can't be sure if this particular flavor is producing carto immortality, or if all their juices might provide similar longevity. We all know the rule about light and dark liquids but maybe there's more to it than that. Btw, I'm using a 70-30 pg/vg mix - pretty standard.

Anyway, Aaron at vapeBig gave me a great deal on a large bottle so I feel a plug's in order. If anyone else has had similar results with a particular juice brand I'd like to hear about it.

It has been known that some juices from certain vendors are carto killers. Especially coffee and dessert type flavors. Since they have a bit of sweetener in it most of the time. Which can leave something like a sediment that lingers in the filler material. Causing it to tighten and clog. This might be what's happening in your situation right now.

Although, there are other factors that contribute to your current situation as well, obviously. Generally, a carto is good for about 10-15ml of juice. Some say it's less or more but, just going to put that out there for now. Since, that's what I've found out throughout time. The time you wait to top off is another one since, if it gets dry than the chances of the carto on your rises. Also, it can lead to it being burnt too.

Hope that helps.

THere's a huge difference in carto lifespane from juice to juice. SOme of the flavors I really love mow down cartomizers in the prime of their lives. There is some truth to the idea that darker juices are more likely to be harder on cartos, but it's not a sure thing. Bottom line is that I still vape a couple of juices that are only good for a day or so in a carto. Copper Creek House Blend is an example. Fortunately, it's so good it's worth the extra cartos I go through :)
