Is there a difference in the quality of a juice that is $8.99 for 30 milliliters as opposed to one that is $16.99 for the same size

maybe... depends on the juice and your personal taste...

in some cases the 8.99 Juice could be better than 16.99

Or both could be absolute garbage.

From myexperience... if it's not chinese, it's all of decent quality..the boutique juices* however, are really a step above.

*Mad Murdock's, Jameson's, vaping Monkey, The Standard, etc.

Those are lines I've seen on the Vaperev site - I haven't been able to find out anything at all about any of them, except that Vaping Monkey has disclosed that one of their juices contains diacetyl (good that that was disclosed, anyway)... do you actually know anything about where and by whom and with what they're produced? I poked around in there at one point and didn't purchase anything because none of the juices had a customizable PG/VG level, even. Great labels, pricey, that's all I know re 'boutique'.

my experience thus far is that u get what you pay for when it comes to ejuice, there seems to be a big difference in the gourmet vendors and the value vendors, but taste is subjective and if you can find a juice that u really like from a cheaper vendor then thats great more money saved, i have had not much luck with this myself though

Mad Murdock's is not sold at Vape Rev, Neither is Vaping Monkey.

That said... most of these companies list ingredients... they do not list quantities of those ingredients or exact flavoring components... no, they do not allow you to customize the mix or flavor, because they are finished products... But, you can't customize the mix of a bottle of wine either....

In most cases I've found that they taste better and vape better than bargain juice.

That said, Do you actually know anything about where and by whom and with what the juices you vape are produced?

Most vaper's don't.

Organic isn't always more expensive.
Volcano charges a lot for their PG stuff.
Not knocking them; just an example.
Just ordered a sampler kit from Velvet Cloud.
They make Organic VG juice.
Paid $40 for five 10ml bottles.
Also included an eGo mini, five CE4 clearos, charging kit & case.
Found them in the suppliers forum. Facebook coupon took 20% off.

I have never been too critical of juice pricing to a point. I think anything up to about .75 cents per ml is to be expected. Anything over that would need to be " I am vaping with Jesus good". I have found some great complex flavors and they tend to be in the .50 to .60 per ml range. Many I have tried, that were less expensive, seemed to be one trick ponies which is fine if you enjoy simple flavors.
