Juice Color Question

2 weeks ago I purchased 555 from MFS in 12mg strength. The flavor was quite good, and the color was a pale yellow.

Last week I re-ordered (again, MFS), this time in 18mg strength. This juice is perfectly clear, and has a reduced flavor.

Does adding 6mg Nic to a juice typically clarify the liquid, and/or reduce flavor?

not sure but ive seen grape flavored juice as really dark purple and then a lighter purple

I'm not for sure about the color but I do know adding nic does reduce the e-liquids flavor. However lowering the nic also reduces the throat hit. So one has to determine whether throat hit or flavor is more important.

As for colors I order through TastyVapor.us and Geoff's e-liquid is a very pale yellow to clear in color and it has a REALLY strong flavor. So I don't think the color really affects what the e-liquid will taste like. My guess is that whatever flavoring your vendor is using makes the determination on whether the food coloring dye is added or not.

Ive noticed my juices from here always taste a little off for a couple of days when they are very clear, but within a couple of days, they start to darken and the flavor changes drastically for the better. Not sure what that is.

Nicotine oxidizes when exposed to oxygen, and the oxidation product is darker in color. The flavor probably seems stronger because there is less nicotine/less throat hit to mask it.

I work with 2 liquids in each flavor that come from China. 0-mg and 24mg. the 0mg is, for the most, always clear. The 24mg is always yellow to dark brown. This tells us a little bit about the china nicotine now doesn't it. Probably not as good a quality as what I add here in our office. Now to explain why from time to time you may get a clear juice from us in 6mg-48mg would be because I have run out of that flavor already containing the nicotine from China so I use the 0mg flavor and add a VERY high nicotine solution until desired level is reached. I use such a high concentrate that at 48mg a 20ml bottle would get 1.92ml added to it so the flavor should not be affected that much. Now with that said, It is also possible that I got ...get flavors from time to time that are just simply WEAK! That I will need feed back on to keep up with any potential problem.
I do want to anounce that I have found a supplier of tobacco Flavoring! No PG no nic (I prefer mine) Just flavoring. I have not worked out all of the details nor received any yet but I hope to have some in to test by the middle of next month. Please let me know who is interested!

If you can get by for 2 weeks I am getting Another shipment in of ry4 and RY4 FLAVORING! You can do some taste testing for if you want. It's coming from another supplier so I 1st need to see if their flavor is the same as current supplier and if it is different let me know which you prefer. I'll send you 48mg Ry4 and Ry4 flavoring to add to what you have now to see that's all we need to do to increase the flavor output!

Ok, I'm chiming in!

I'd be happy over anything you get more control over, Chris, when it comes to the end product juice.

I just got some of your "cola" flavor, and while I still can't figure out whether it'll be a staple of my juice stable, there is absolutely NO doubt that this flavor IS cola. Very interesting; I could about feel the bubbles on my nose, so to speak, on the first vape- quite faithful to the name.

I think of different flavors like changing "brands" back in my analog days, but the mold is starting to break a bit on that old way of thinking- and I would be happy to see what you do with tobacco style juices, for sure.

I noticed that too on the 24 mg; I vote for the Juice Nazi to mix it up

BTW, been a long time since I've been to Medford- used to visit Skinner Cadillac as the "Factory Rep" when I worked for Cadillac Division. I'm happy to be back in Ohio, but dang I miss that beautiful Oregon coast!

I can assure you..no dye is ever used. Color change and or darker juices are just from the flavoring's chemicals and their reactions. I though I just explained the color differences and why that it is lighter this one time???

I don't remember saying the flavorings were non-Chinese. They're the only place I can find to get them.
