Juice consumption - carto vs atomizer

Hi gang,

I started off with a T-Rex with cartos a few weeks ago. I've been using them and have been happy with the setup, but with so many new flavors, I wanted to try another setup that would allow me to sample everything, so I bought some Joye 510 atomizers and drip tips.

I still don't think I have the hang of direct dripping, but did want to ask about liquid usage when comparing the two different methods. With the carto, obviously it takes ~15-20 drops to get the initial fill, but then you only have to add a few drops now and again to keep everything running smoothly. With the direct dripping, it seems, you have to use 2-3 drops and you only get a handful of puffs before you need more. It seems to me, that direct dripping uses a lot more liquid. Is this correct?

I guess you are figuring it the wrong way. You should compare a longer period of time, for instance 3 days, with one method and the other. Measure the amount of juice you use in each, and you will have the answer.

Maybe each method will satisfy you differently, affecting the amount of juice used.

I primarily drip. Seems the opposite to me.... That I use much more juice in cartos than dripping. Using a LR atty or carto will eat juice faster. Same with high voltage vaping. Whatever works for you is the best method. if you measure it you're likely using a teaspoon or less juice/day. Vape happy

I have been primarily using LR atomizers for over a year. Cartomizers always seemed to use less juice than dripping. That is until I started using LR and dual coil cartos which do go through the juice quite a bit faster. It all depends on how you vape and what you're using.

Low resistance will go through the juice faster. I also agree that dripping takes a tad more than your current setup. However, if you are only going to test a flavor, then dripping is the way to go.
