Is it normal that I get better vapor when the juice flow is closed? So how does the juice get to the coil once I close it I'm not sure I understand but I find I get better flavor and more vapor

It's not normal

You will soon get dry hits and ruin your coil, leave it open (max vg) you can close it a little if your using lesser vg based juice

But again you will burn your coils if it's closed
