Juice gets darker?

I use a Kanger T3S clearomizer and I can see the juice. I noticed that all of my different juices in 4 different clearomizers get a lot darker in the clearomizer as I vape, especially when the juice levels falls below 1/2 of the tanks capacity. Just wondered if that was a normal occurrence? I am using everything from 50/50 to 100%VG and nic from 18 to 24mg.

Yes, it is normal. It is partly from the nicotine oxidizing because of exposure to air, and partly from burnt juice gunk from the coil seeping back into the tank.

While everything stated above is true, I've noticed that some juices are more susceptible to it than others and those that are, seem to gunk up and ruin my coil/wicking material. My tank of choice is a kayfun 3.1 clone RDA, so rebuilds aren't terrible, just a pain in the rear sometimes.

Not that rebuilding the coil is a pain, just having to do so because of the particular juice I'm using, that's the pain. I've started leaning more towards 'easy juices' because of this lately
