I used a little distilled water in my VG using my T2 top coil and it helped some but I don't generally have too many dry hits. Maybe I don't chain it quick enough. Probably because I know if I do I get dry hits. The biggest disappointment I had in the T0 (aside from them being junk) was the lack of flavor. It's possible I had some kind of weird crud on my tongue for those couple of days. That's always possible. But even when I am running lower watts on my top coil T2's or Mini Nova I get bland flavor cuz it's too cool. But, until I try it for several days I wont know. I like your idea of making the well a little larger. I haven't dissected one yet so perhaps I would gain perspective if I did.

Well, i never used water in a T2, VG base liquids get discolored in it too fast anyway so I exclusively use them in the CE3

I never get dry hits in t2 or vivi novas..maybe thats why I like them so much...I just want a bottom feed that offers that and doesnt mute flavor or change it depending on how full the tank is. The vivi however holds better than the t2.

I'm finding with VG's and VG blends if I fill my T2 or Mini Nova only to 1.4ml and burn it all the way down then pull the coil and sop up the wicks with a paper towel and simply rinse the rest and refill another 1.4ml that this works well. Even a flavor change doing it this way is no big deal. You get a handful of hits that are tweeners but the new flavor takes over before long. Yes, if it is a profound flavor change then you got to thoroughly clean the atty. But if you dedicate a clearo for each flavor, this will simplify the process. I suspect a thorough cleaning of the coil with a dry burn would be in order every so often.
