Hi guys....this is going to sound like a complete no brainer, but I was just in such excruciating pain I felt it was worth sending out a warning. I was just cleaning some of my Stardusts, and when I was pulling the little silicone plug out with my tweezers, some excess juice went flying directly in my eyes. A very small amount...but it was FAR more painful than any hairspray, shampoo, soap, or any of the other hundreds of beauty products I have in my arsenal that I can ever recall getting in my eyes. And from just a few small drops that happened to fly in that direction. If anyone out there wears contacts....its reminded me of when I used to have to soak them in a seperate cleaning solution (not just saline), and if I put them back in before waiting the full 6 hrs (or however long it was), my eyes turned completely blood shot and I could barely open them for hours. I think I actually have my contacts to thank in this case, as they probably protected my eyes from burning a whole heck of a lot worse.

All that said...just a warning to be careful when doing things like that with your juices....they are NOT eye friendly whatsoever!! It's been about an hour or so now and I'm just starting to feel normal.

I know I'm probably sounding like Captain Obvious right now, but it was far worse than I ever would have imagined, hence the warning. :)

It's the nicotine in the juice, I'm sure. I have some eyedrops that the eye doctor gave me samples of for dry eyes. The active ingredients are Polyethylene Glycol .4% and Propylene Glycol .3%. The inactive ingredients are water and preservatives. They are quite soothing.

I was surprised to see PG as an ingredient in eyedrops, but it's in uncountable products we use on or in our bodies. I agree, Nic burns. I have had it pop out during a dry burn and enter my eye ... Ouch! On the few occasions where I dry burn, I wear glasses after having that happen just once!

Thank goodness it wasn't atomic cinnacide! LOL

OMG Seriously!! LOL! I'm sure its the Nic that causes the burn, like DaveP said. I might follow his lead and start wearing glasses when I clean those suckers going forward! It's really going to start looking like a lab in here when I add safety googles to mix. (as if the 100s of little plastic bottles and vaping gadgets wasn't enough) :)

During my 3rd week of vaping, I was filling an empty 10 ml bottle from a 30 ml bottle of E-Joker. The holes in the bottle nipples of that order of BWB were very tiny. Instead of making the hole bigger or simply taking off the nipple, I impatiently squeezed the 18mg E-Joker harder and harder. Just as I was thinking this was a bad idea......POP!!! In my face and all over my shirt it went. Not just a sprits, I got a face full. Luckily, I was in the kitchen and flushed my eyes instantly. As if nicotine wasn't bad enough in my eyes...the cinnamon whatever mixture in the juice added that extra level of burn. Needless to say, I'm a lot more careful with my juice since then. I guess you could say the Joke was on me.

OUCH...luckily this wasn't any of my cinnamon or menthol juice like eJokers....I think I'll definitely be wearing the safety goggles next time I have those flavors to deal with!

this happened to me a week or two ago. i was refilling a 30ml bottle and i guess there was some residual liquid on the dripper cap. once i snapped it in the bottle, a tiny spray of eliquid zapped me in my eye. it burned incredibly badly. worse than anyhting ive ever got in my eye. so, if youre ever in the need of Mace and dont have any, just zap 'em in the eye with your eliquid!

yikes i can only imagine 60mg. mine was 18 and it burned the bejesus out my my eyeball. 60 would KILL. might as well just drop some battery acid in the ol' peepers

Seriously! I was only at 12mg....I can't even imagine 60mg. That could definitely be used as mace! (might be worse) LOL

Ive rubbed my eyes before and had dried nic on them from leaking, and OOUCHers, yes it burns like crazy =(.

At least once, I've absentmindedly grabbed a tissue or napkin off the desk to wipe my eyes--before remembering I had used it to wipe e-liquid off something. I'm glad to say it's been a long time since I've done anything like that.
