well the point would be is there any alcohol etc. in the eliquid. Notice I didn't say juice. I think that was a good suggestion JW50 brought up. Anyway I received lots of information from you people and want to tank you again for replying.

Send them a note before you order and ask them.

pfamber11 - Does your LF ingredients match this:
Below is a listing from a bottle of e-liquid that I purchased from Liberty Flights:
Listed ingredients of Liberty Flights - VG | E-LIQUID | Winston | 14mg
vegetable glycerin 75.0%
3-methylcyclopentane-12-dione 2.5%
1-malic acid 3.0%
2,3,5,6-tetramethylpyazine 1.5%
2,3,5-trimthylprazine 0.3%
betadamescenone 0.2%
acetylpyrazine 0.2%
2-acetylpyradine ethanol 10.0%
rhodinol 0.3%
vanillin 2.5%
ethyl acetate 0.5%
ethyl maltol 1.0%
2-mthyl-butyic acid 0.5%
I think total here is only 97.5%.

Nola - You might note the ethanol. That may be the alcohol you're looking for. 10% is same as 20 proof.

espresso - "e-solution"? Idea is to find something kids don't like - I guess, and won't eat. What about we call that stuff we now call e-liquid "peas and carrots"?

malic acid derives from grapes and apples and is a common addition to glycolic acid in exfoliating peels...wonder if this is included to foster the "sting" of a throat hit? And 3% seems like a pretty strong dose of it for something you're going to inhale...

Just a lot of guessing is about the best we can do on nearly all ingredients. My thought would be that the acid might create a salt with the free base nicotine. The salt created might be a means to deliver the nic that many seek or it might be a salt that inhibits rapid action of the nic. But, I kind of like grapes or apples so not sure I'm personally that worried about malic acid.

Solution, as in chemical solution, neutral term.
Also, a solutoin to nicotine craving.
(e-Potion would be an candidate too, label it death potion if you like)

Kids? You touch my e-solution, I'm gonna break your arm! (Luckily I don't have any, yet)

blksun - My experience is that nearly all vendors will say whether predominately PG or VG. However, if the flavoring makes you itch, why worry whether PG or VG?

I have found a few vendors that are 100% VG and state the flavoring does not contain PG. I don't have any issues with those juices.
I wonder if an ingredient list might also be beneficial to people with food allergies.

Why do juice suppliers not list the ingredients of their juices. Gosh. I read every ingredient on the label of the food I purchase and would like to do the same for juices. There are a few sites that have good rating juices but no ingredient listing. Are they afraid we will make our own? That does not make sense. There are amounts etc. to consider. When I buy a bottle of tomato sauce I am not planning on duplicating the recipe at home. Anyway it is frustrating.

Was shopping around for juices, because that seems to be what I do a lot lately :p, and stumbled across Vermont Vaper.
They have their ingredients listed for each juice right on the order page. Even which ones have trace PG in them. Don't know anything else about them, just thought you might want to check them out.

I doubt the suppliers are particularly worried about us making our own.... I know what goes in a cupcake, or a donut, but that doesn't stop me from buying them.

People clamoring for ingredient lists might just get your wish if the FDA gets involved in juice. Be careful what you wish for.

+1

I would think that asking the supplier would work, and if they won't/can't say, find another supplier, there certainly are plenty of them out there.

I do not need more government control in my life......
