Juice leaking all over atty (Joye Ego 510)

I usually only disassemble my Joye Ego once a day when the battery runs out, and everytime there is a good amount of juice that has leaked all over the atty. I am a dripper and only drip 2-3 drops at a time so I don't think I'm dripping too much.

My question is: Is this normal? and if not, is there anything I can do to prevent this? My attys are screwed on tight.

hmm. maybe try a diff. atty. sounds like that may be the culprit? are you adding drops to early maybe??

That was my first thought as well. 2-3 drops at a time is about right, but if you're adding 2-3 drops every other drag you'll flood the atty in about 5 minutes.

I usually add 2 drops every 10 or so drags. Maybe I need to wait longer to drip, but I start to lose flavor and vapor after the 10 hit mark.

then i wonder if the bottom hole on your atty is too big. ten drags is plenty long

That's about my drip rate I usually have nothing on the battery contacts. I happens occasionally though...

I use a Riva, which has the same basic design as the Ego. If I use the cone that comes with it, I get lots of condensation on the atty. Absolutely drives me nuts, constantly wiping. It doesn't drip down past the cone into my mouth or anything, but I know it's there and I don't like it. I suspect this may be what is happening to you.

My solution is simply to not use the cone. No more liquid on the outside of atomizer.
