Maybe this is the most apropos question considering the name I have selected, but I haven't been able to fond any definitive answers for this.

Is there difference in which resistance of coil used for percentage of pg/vg juice? Additionally what wattage is "best" for what percentage mixture of juice?

I have an Innokin MVP and only have the iClear 30 that it shipped with. I don't know the resistance of the coil it came with, I am waiting for more coils in 1.5 and 2.1 ohms.
Should juices with a higher percentage of VG be used with a higher or lower resistance? I find the higher VG juices are thicker, what's the "best" way to vape which mixtures of juices?

I have been vaping most every thing at 4.0-4.2 volts no matter the percentage. I have tried 70/30, 50/50 and 30/70. (pg/vg)

I am Jack's embodiment of questions :vapor:

Hi vapo_nub, welcome to the fourms.

Well just to let you know the MVP only has voltage mode, so you are actually vaping at 4 - 4.2 volts, not watts.

It doesn't really matter what resistance coil head you use for different ratios of juice. The thicker juices (say 50% VG and up) might wick a little slower with top coil devices like your iclear or a vivi nova or something, but that is nothing to do with the coil resistance.

Changing the coil head will not change your vaping experience much - but with lower ohms you will have to reduce your voltage, with higher ohms you will have to increase it to get the same number of watts.

Google vaping chart for more details about recommended voltage for different ohm heads. Offering different ohm heads is more important if you have a fixed voltage battery - take a look at that chart and you'll see why.

Finally, it's all about taste. If it tastes good, great. If it's a little burnt, turn it down. If it's muted or not enough vapor, turn it up. There is no right or wrong way, it's all about the flavor and finding a vape that satisfies your cravings.

MVP is VV only, DOH. I knew that. LOL I keep dreaming about the VTR; VV/VW and so much more :hubba:.

Thank you for the info and the search suggestion. I wasn't sure if it was a hard and fast rule or if there was just a sort of suggested guidelines.

Oh, thank you for the welcome to the forum. :) I thought I had a grasp on this vaping thing from reading about it ... then I actually got my very first vape. Now I want to buy Juices every week from the vendors I find, that deliver in my area, lol.

Must develop self-control

I prefer this chart, as an 11th month vaporer, which I just saw recently somewhere else on ecf
