Taste is very subjective and difficult to manage for another person. Though I do agree that some juices lack flavor...me being a flavor chaser, not a cloud chaser. I have three different juice vendors I use and can tell you each has their own twist for the "same" flavors. Example for me is "Menthol", just straight menthol. I've actually tried "Menthol" from six different places to include some of my B&M shops in a quest for my ADV. I've even attempted to mix my own, but out of all my attempts, there is ONLY ONE "MIGHTY MENTHOL" FOR ME. Try extra flavor shots if available and be conservative with those, too many can ruin a juice. Make sure you "steep" your juices...it does make a difference

The juices are intensely flavored, but you're only getting a drop or less per drag. Higher output devices can help because then you're using more juice. Flavor can be unpredictable however. I don't know about the fullsize Protanks but in my experience the mini PT2 tends toward a "clean, bright" flavor at the expense of overall flavor. I've had the same juice taste like water in the PT while in a cheap EVOD with the exact same coil and battery it's totally intense. But other flavors are a bit "off" in character with the EVOD. I've also had a good juice and mixed in a few drops of another good one and it seemed like the flavors cancelled out. Unflavored juice can be intense (high nic at least). I got one flavor that the seller said was really intense, in my dripper I couldn't taste anything, but in a clearo it was good and mixed it was powerful. It's weird.

Technique can also make a big difference. How it goes into your mouth varies flavor. Letting in a bit of air around the mouthpiece to add turbulence helps me a lot, especially when I started and had less ability to taste.

Voltage/power will be low with that tank, too high may be good at first but will peter out, get dry-seeming, and probably taste burnt. Too low is "wet' and lacks magic. The range of best settings is narrow and determined by the atomizer varied slightly by technique.

I get juices from a couple "premium" places and many more from cheaper sites. Frankly as many use very similar flavors ....it comes down to their mix and your personal preference. TASTE IS SUBJECTIVE. What I love ....the next person will hate!

I've been using ProTank 2's for just under 2 years......I have NO issue with getting juices with great flavor. That said, using the stock PT2 doesn't work as well as acquiring a good AFC (Air Flow Controller) and rebuilding the coil and using cotton. It's a small tight space but having the AFC over the original base makes a world of difference. Don't short-change the Kanger product .....it may not be the "best" or "most expensive" .....but if used/built right, you can get a high quality vape out of it. Don't expect to be pushing huge clouds b/c it cannot take extreme heat .....but it'll get the job done. Note, these tanks were used on a cheap Tesla tube mod and then a MVP2 (11 watt max). Most of my juices are 50-60 vg and wicked very well in my PTs.

Recently upgraded to an iStick 50w and SubTank Mini. This allows me to create almost any build I want for any ohm range of coil and the mod allows significantly more power than my previous choices. Does this provide a better vape ....not entirely, just different. I'm finally able to reach some of the finer layers in the juice. It's a testing and patience game (almost like DIYing your juice)....each person likes different flavor profiles, each juice has it's sweet spot which you may/may not be able to reach for your current gear. Just don't think you need to spend a ton of money to get a quality vape....if it works and keeps you off the analogs, keep doing it.

Most flavor comes from your set up, if your using a tiny single coil 1.8 clearo flavor will be low. But my favorite has always been the nautilus mini or drippers for flavor. And even then I find it gross people order tripple shot flavor additives. It's not supposed to emulate drinking orange juice or eating a vanilla custard... It's just supposed to have a mild taste. I think most consumers expect too much from flavorings.
