Juice separating

I've searched and found some info on this. Even posted in the MBV thread and got a "few" opinions of why and what. I have a flavor (wild cherry) that has separated after steeping for one day with just the bottle cap off. It wasn't separated Saturday when I received my order I don't remember the bottle of juice looking separated. I received 10 others bottles as well and they all are fine. Does anyone have any insight on this problem? Has it happened to you before? Is it "fixable"? Or is the bottle trash? Thanks in advanced!!!

Sounds to me like oil and water mix. It isn't common but some flavors are water soluble but PG and VG are oil soluble.

Edit - I just read that and realize I botched that explanation to the point of being wrong.

Emulsifiers don't work to mix all water and oil solubles. So I should have said the flavor is either oil or water soluble liquid that doesn't work with typical emulsifiers.

I have one that does that. I just shake it up. Mine is an Orange flavor and I bet the flavoring comes from orange oil. It would seperate from any water based products.

I'm looking at a bottle of Wild Cherry from MBV as I type. It was mixed on 12-02-13 and I've only vaped about half of it. It has never "separated" on me that I've ever noticed.

Does it smell ok? If you shake it up, does it separate again after sitting for a spell?

Odd that your's does that when mine doesn't... BTW mine is 12 mg 65/35 mix with no extra flavor shots. What's yours?

Ecto-Cooler separated on me, I'm assuming Orange or some sort of citrus oil is to blame. Back when I vaped Pluid the fresh stuff would separate out, but after sitting around for awhile with frequent shaking it remained stable.

Yes I shake all my juices before using amd at least once a day on the ones I don't use. If I shake it up it turns super cloudy. After sitting for a while it separates again. I use a 50/50 mix

I contacted MBV. They couldn't give me any info as I why but they are putting a bottle in the mail tomorrow.
