Juice storage

Got this yesterday at chinamart, 3.25" deep so it holds 30mL bottles just fine. Little evic box on the top.

Large one is a Plano 3730, small is a 3500.

30mL bottle fits just right, plus a 10mL, and the evic won't move at all.

Nice... I have an Evic too and I've been thinking of getting an organizer box thing also. What's that gray stuff you have in there? Is that just foam padding?

The foam is a sticky back insulation roll, from homedepot I think. Cut to size, peel and stick. Might also find it where they sell pickup toppers, used to seal between the two. Got mine to seal a bed lid and never used it, so there it was just sitting there. I might redo mine for a cleaner look, I have plenty of foam.

I replaced the foam, looks a little better, holds 2 batteries where it's at but I only have one. Cut the foam sides a little lower, allowing the top piece to get down a little lower, and more snug on the evic. Perfect now.

Plano is going to send me more of the little dividers free, for the larger 3730 box. I emailed them asking for more, they sent me an email, filled out my info, they replied they'll send them out. Can't beat that for customer service.

Bahaha, I'm a noob (been only 2 weeks since I got my first liquid)... So I am just using a drawer in my desk... I'm also moving to japan soon so I don't really want to travel with a bunch of liquid (might go bad, punctured, whatever).

Cool. I've been really bothered about juice storage (I'm a little OCD.) I'm thinking of ordering this:



but I have also been looking at maybe a lazy-susan type spice holder. Not for traveling, just for home.

Anyone else have ideas or pics of what they use?

I love the way the lipstick one is tiered and separated, but I'm not sure what juices would fit in there. Did I just miss the dimensions of the individual compartments?

It does not list the individual compartments. However, the whole things dimesions are 8-3/4" x 3-1/2" x 2". So that means that each box is a little over an inch by an inch, I believe... I think my math is correct.

All of my liquids are thrown in a shoebox. Try not to be jealous of my classiness, now.

I totally just took out a ruler and measured my bottles. The most common is almost exactly an inch in diameter, with a very small bit to spare. Seems like they would fit perfectly. I wonder though if you're math allowed for the bamboo?

How about you order one and let us know?

Seriously, I'm really tempted. So much nicer than plastic and love that it;s tiered. I just don't want to order it only to be disappointed and a little more poor ... decisions!

No problem! I think a different ECF member led me to that site. I might actually buy one, if I do I'll PM you letting you know how it goes.

BTW: Now that you mention it I don't think my math accounted for the bamboo :/

I had a bunch of 15 ml bottles...transferred all the liquids into 4 dram bottles for easier storage, but still like the look of the 15 ml better. I'm really digging that carousel lazy susan rack.
