I've never smoked an analog, and got into E-cigs solely for theatrical effects needing the fog. But, I've always liked the smell of pipes and cigars whenever I was around someone who smoked them. I did briefly try a pipe juice, but found it to be terrible, with mostly the taste of ash, and not the lovely aroma I was expecting.
Years ago, I was directed to a local supplier (Azure vaping) who had a flavor "Rob's Blackjack". And it definitely had the aroma I was looking for, but it was VERY subtle, compared to what I was hoping for. At least it didn't have the ash taste. Yesterday I tried another "Vanilla Pipe" from Wesley's Vape shop, and it was comparable to the Rob's Blackjack, but it also had a very subtle aroma.
I think what I am looking for is really mostly smell.. But, perhaps the kinds of flavorings used in e-juice is not primarily designed for aroma. After all, even a room full of people vaping at en E-cig convention doesn't really have much smell. So, I am wondering if a totally different category of flavorings need to be used to make what I am seeking.
Any source for cigar or pipe juice that is quite fragrant?
