I've got quite a collection of various juices. Some were really good, others I just got tired of. Some are also about 9 months old. Questions:
  1. Does juice spoil ... like food does?
  2. What does happen to juice as it ages (loss of flavor, deterioration of nicotine, etc)?
  3. Is it safe to use juice that could end up being a couple of years old?
  4. What can one do to preserve juices that are aging?

I would really love to hear from veterans who have some really, really old juices. Thanks ahead for any input.

I will not claim to be an expert on the subject but I can give you my personal experience and opinion. I (similar to you) have had quite the hoard of juice, I have tried vaping juice that was over a year old, I did not get sick or anything but I did notice that the juice tasted much less flavorful, and had hardly any throat hit, that could be a sign that the nicotine has degraded but I do not know that for a fact. Juices can most definitely go bad just like food products, the best way to maintain the quality, and prolong its life is to store it in a cool dark place, I have also heard that storing in the fridge will keep it fresher for much longer. I recently finally did a juice cleanout and threw out a lot of the juice I have collected over the last couple years, fresh juice just tastes better to me. As a suggestion, I would say maybe 1 year as a cutoff as long as its stored in a cool dark place, but maybe some others more informed on the subject can make some suggestions as well.

Its been my (limited) experience that juices over a year old loose some flavor at best, and turn sour at worst. As a general rule, I don't keep juices, or mixing components for juices (nicotine, PG, VG, Etc..) over a year.. Dry goods are different (Menthol crystals, Ethyl Malitol crystals, etc..)

I've heard of some people keeping juices in the fridge to preserve them, but I've never done this, so I can't comment about that.

Fresh (or freshly steeped, in some cases) juice just plain tastes better... Keep your juice orders small, say 5-10 mL each until you find a keeper, then order quantities.. I try to consume anything I make, or order within 6-12 months... :)
