Most flavors taste better when mixed with another flavor (or 2 or 3 or more). If you're doing fruits, try adding a little custard or cream (Vanilla, Bavarian, etc.) Or mix 2 or 3 fruits together. If you're doing tobacco's, try adding vanilla and or caramel. You get the idea.

Also, every brand is different when it comes to recommended percentages. TFA might require a total of 10-20% (depending of the flavors). Flavour Art would be more like 5-10%. Keep in mind YMMV.

Do a little research E-Liquid Recipes to see what % people are using.

I am sure someone who knows more than me will come along and help you but that sounds like a low amount of flavoring to me. It really depends the flavoring percentages that are recommended and your own taste buds. Try playing with the percentage of flavoring. Or pair it with another flavor. Some of my best juices were "mixstakes". Good luck to you.

Definitely wanna try varying %'s of flavoring as well as potentially mixing some flavors together to allow others to shine. Some of the best recipes Ive ever tried (Such as FizzMustard's Bombies Nana Cream clone) use other flavorings to allow the primary one to shine. Heck in the NC Clone the primary ingredient is TFA Strawberry which really brings forward the sweetness of the LorAnn Banana Cream. Then Dragonfruit is used to.bring out the more subtle fruit notes. In addition theres plenty of additives that act as binding reagents to really bring out flavor. In citrus blends adding 10% PG dissolved citric acid really lets the fruit flavors "pop" and gives it that extra finishing touch. Ethyl Maltol solution does the same thing for dessert vapes and in higher %'s adds a cotton candy flavor. Sucralose can really bring out the sweeter notes to sweeter fruit flavors like honeydew or peach. Honestly, the easy answer is there is no easy answer. Spend some time perusing the forums and learning as much as possible about flavor notes and how they compliment other flavors, as well as "finishing touch" solutions like citric acid or ethyl maltol. Just a couple weeks of real effort and youll be making gourmet ejuice...

I usually mix at 25%-35% flavoring -- high flavor mixes (thanks Bill's Magic Vapor!) taste good right when you mix them, none of that ridiculous steeping bidness, and great usually just a few hours later. You need creams and vanillas in equal proportion to the "main" flavor. Such as this:

Strawberries and Cream
Inawera Shisha Strawberry 16.0%
TFA DX Bavarian Cream 6.0%
TFA Vanilla Swirl 4.5%
CAP Sweet Cream 2.5%
TFA Sweetener 3.0%

It gunks coils within about 24-30 hrs of steady use, but the POW! of flavor is worth it.
