What do you like?
Some "surprises":
MrELiquid - huge selection, I like them better than MtBaker. Try "Grey Matter" and tell me if you figure out what it is.
NicQuid - small selection, but it's pre-steeped. Great "sweet" flavors. I buy Banana Nut Bread and StrawNana Smoothie.
Halo - Interesting tobacco-ish flavors like Tribecca and Voodoo. Famous Menthols, but I don't like those.

Personally, I didn't like Pluid... at all. I literally took 2 hits and subsequently sold the bottle I bought. That said, licorice/anise flavors make me want to throw up. I figured that with everyone liking it, maybe it would be different. If you like licorice/anise flavors, you will like Pluid.

Boba's Bounty (the real one from Alien Visions E-Juice) is a different story. I love me some Boba's and now order the 100 ml bottle. It is impossible to describe the flavor and it really is something special. I don't think it's the nectar of the gods or anything, but it is a very tasty juice. BB's cousin, Gorilla Juice is ok, but I am not big into banana flavoring. Gorilla Juice is just BB with banana flavoring thrown in.

There are a ton of great juice vendors out there. My personal favorite ATM is Velvet Cloud Vapor - Organic and Natural All VG E-Liquid from San Francisco Ugh, I cannot keep my hands off of Night Shift or Vanilla Custard from them. Another good one is Good Life Vapor Again, they have some excellect juices. For a good tobacco eliquid, you can't go wrong with Electronic Cigarettes Chicago | E Cigarettes | E Cigs | Smokeless Cigarettes | eCigarette Minooka, IL either. They extract their own tobacco flavorings in-house. their GJ4 is absolutely the best tobacco juice I have used!

being an ex menthol smoker ive been leaning more towards the menthol types ofc, but i have found anise flavors and clove flavors are pretty nice, i do also enjoy mbv's ecto cooler and thug juice, and yes im sure taste is subjective and i agree, just looking to see if these certain 2-3 juices and vendors that have such a huge following are really all that great, i appreciate all the opinions out there because im so new to all of this and idk if i never smoked a grahm cracker cig would i like a grahm cracker vape lol...i apologize in advance, i really am just learning and have only been cig free for only around just over 2 mos coming from about 20 yrs...thnx again

I just got 12 samples from J Vapes yesterday...........have Pursuit of Happiness in my tank........can NOT quit vaping it! It's got some kind of "honey" thing going on, lots of vapor, great TH. Their juices don't smell chemical or perfumey, and don't have "color" like quite a few other vendors.
I've probably got samples from 25+ vendors (got burned out on my favs from MBV about 2 months ago) and the only one that was over-hyped, over rated was Yaeliq. Some juices are worth the wait, like Alice in Vapeland, but 10+ days (some peeps waited almost a month) for juice out of Israel that smells toxic when you open it up.....yuck! Just say NO! I don't know what he uses for flavoring, someone asked and he replied he used "all of them!"......IDK. I didn't find anything worth vaping out of 15 samples.

Go the samples route. Read the reviews under the flavor on the vendor's site. Check out the e-juice thread on the forum for that vendor.

You can't go wrong and you won't have 30ml bottles kicking around that are collecting dust.:2c:

If there's anything I've learned about e-liquid, it's that people's personal preference varies greatly. Could be due to a huge number of factors, olfactory/tastebud aptitude, juice device, coil, wick, voltage/wattage, and of course then there's the juice itself.

For the most part you get your money's worth and the opinion of others should be regarded and considered. There's for sure some great vendors out there and if you at least try a sampler pack then you can widen your juicespective without breaking the bank.

Personally I haven't tried much, I'm lucky I at least have two juices that are so very satisfying I don't even think about analogs while I have some. I really felt I'd be into coffee/desert/tea flavors. They're good, some great, but my ADV right now is Red Hot Cinnamon. Sometimes you can surprise yourself :p
I'd like to try some VapeChef(?) and Ahlushion eventually, but because I'm so strict about 100% VG juices I pretty much stick with the vendor I know and trust.

Best of luck on your quest, vape well, vape often! :vapor:

I have tried a lot of Juices. Two standouts that did not live up to my expectations were Hobbs Blood and Honey Pearry.. from vapor chef. they are not bad.. but i do not get the flavor profile that is described on the site.. They have both been steeping for about a month now.. and they still taste the same as the day they arrived.. To me, They both taste very similar.. and that makes me think that i got a bad mix or something.. Oddly enough.. the freebee Pina Guavada sample they included was awesome!

In my short time gaping--I have tried a LOT of different juice. I will say that I like strong flavors and so far have been disappointed with many.

I ordered a number of flavors from MBV because of being able to add the extra shots of flavor. All of them I have tried so far have been a big disappointment--to be fair I am now letting them steep, but even the batch that is a month old and steeped for at least that long are dull and muted IMO.

Next I ordered the sampler from Alice In Vapeland--those juices are indeed more complex--but IMO not strong enough for me. There have been a couple that have been pleasant--but nothing I would go back and order larger sizes.

I also have a number of flavors from Ahlusion--they too are steeping as right out of the mailbox--very little flavor and very chemical. Maybe I will like them when they steep awhile---so the verdict is not completely in on those either.

One of my very favorite liquids is Absinthe from St. Louis Vapors--it is strong and I love it. I do like the anise flavor so I did order Pluid and it is now in my rotation daily!! It is anise based but has some citrus notes that are subtle and wonderful. I just ordered 3 more 30ml bottles and will keep it on hand always!!

I think at this point I have been happier with Halo--Johnson Creek and Five Pawns due to their consistency in flavor and not having to steep months and months for the flavor to show up. These are all blended well and although I do prefer some of the flavors over others--all are relatively good and won't be wasted.

I have not yet tried Boba's or Gorilla Juice. I have tried some of the Provape juice and I ordered their strong flavors--all have been very good.

I know that I have ordered a lot as of now and I am sure that I will be able to mix some of the less flavorful with others and might come up with something wonderful that way :).

Good luck on your quest to find the right thing that will work for you! Just thought I would share some of my experience--and I agree with others--taste is very subjective.

I grew tired of hit and miss with MBV, some were great, others sucked. The only vendor that I consistently loved every flavor from was Alien Vapor, which has my favorite juice called Super Skunk. I've recently started DIY juice, and am totally loving it, I control the flavor, I control the VG/PG, I control the nic mg. Make a test batch of 10 ml, if I love it, write the recipe down, if it sucks, I don't make any more and am only out 40 cents. I can do strong single flavors, or combine and accent with anything I want, and the savings and satisfaction are tremendous. Take a gander at the forums DIY section and you'll find all the information needed to see if this is something of interest. Also lots of recipes and support there to. Step on into the lab and see what's on the slab. No more waiting for the Vapeman to arrive. Speaking of which, where the heck is he?? Expecting some atty's and....

You are right about personal tastes varying greatly. Made me smile to see that you like Red Hot Cinnamon. Got a sample of that and my reaction was GAHHH! Dumped it down the sink. I am really hoping that Hawk juice from Mt Baker is as good as they say (bought a lot of it).

You should give Five Pawns Absolute Pin a try. I hated it but its because I can't stand absinthe. It was in my sampler pack so I at least had to try it.
