We moved in here on July30th. They have been out here 7 times already. The first two weeks were a nightmare! A different tech each time and they would all say something different was wrong. I finally told them to send someone that knew his ... from a hole in the ground or I was switching companies. He actually figured out the problem was at the pole and not in the house. We've had a few glitches here and there since then but tonite has been the worse one since then.

I feel your pain. I was the first one in this area to get high speed cable and digital cable when they first came out... because I worked for the cable company.
There were nothing but problems and to this day, because they wired the house wrong, once a year they have to come out and restring all the cable going to and around the house, because they don't want to take the time to run it properly.

We have a lot of computers in my house, five of them with another in the making. It is a hobby of my oldest son. But we each have a computer. The only thing we have more of than computers is TVs and no one even watches them,lol Now I know that many computers is a drain and is difficult to accommodate, but come on, when you tell this upfront you would think they would come prepared. But on a good note, when I went to pay my bill, I didn't have one and I'm showing a credit for next month too so I can't complain too much. Ok, yeah I can complain,lol
When I called tonite after it had been out for an hour, they said there was an outage in the area but our house was flagged and they would send someone out on Monday to make sure everything was alright,lol I guess being mean works sometimes,lol
Yeah all those cable outlets and TV's split the signal. I'd be surprised if you don't have at least repeater in your home to boost the signal strength. If you don't, you probably should.
They did put one of those in. One nite the cable went out. I called, all mad since we had already been dealing with the internet issues. Turns out one of the cats or dogs had unplugged it,lol
Just wanted to let you all that I am STILL having Internet problems. Every night like clock work, from 11:30pm till about 2 Am I can't get online at all. I have had them out here 9 times in the last month and they still dont' have it fixed. Looks like Monday I am going to get some more credit on my bill because I will be in their office as soon as I get done at the doctor.
Just now going to sleep. It has been a rough night, a lot on my mind. I won't be back on until Later this evening so if you need something, PM me and I will get back to you when I get up.
