Hello,
New to vaping and to this forum so here is a quick introduction. Started vaping 6 months ago to quit smoking, finally quit 6 weeks ago but I don't think I saved any money yet. Couldn't really quit the analogs with starter kits so we did the research on this forum and then went shopping. To date I got a itaste mvp and vv with kanger and I clear tanks to finally kick analogs. Now we got a DNA 30 with a nautilus 5ml with bvc coils and what I would consider the ultimate carry pv,the eleaf I stick with a nautilus mini. Yes we went a little overboard but to kick the stinkies it was worth it.

Hey guys, second post on the forum! Hey ROADRAGE65, I cant say I followed the same road as you.. I ended up quitting smoking almost right away after buying my first bit of kit. One thing for sure, the hardware collection is starting. That being said, money is being diverted from buying packs of smokes to buying upgrated hardware. Still on the hunt for the perfect combo but so far I have found the Nautilus awesome for flavored juices and iClear goes well with tobacco flavors. I'm trying to tell myself I won't go into the world of rebuildables but who knows!

Welcome RoadRage (and Quest!)

I'm 8 months in, and I've finally gotten to the point where I don't "need" {wink, wink, nudge, nudge} to buy anything. I'm settled in on my MVPs, Zmax V3 and Vamo V6 as my rigs to grab. I'm cycling out my EVOD tanks and replacing with ProTank2s with airflow bases. I rebuild those coils and DIY my juice. So, after 8 months in, I'm feeling good that the money savings has kicked in.

It's now "entertainment" expense for me :)

Hello and welcome; Welcome and hello! Yes, it's easy to overspend; take your time and do your homework before you buy new stuff. You have to resist the temptation of always thinking you need the latest and greatest this or that. I'm in my 2nd year of vaping, and have accumulated a very adequate collection of gear. Now, I'm buying less and less frequently. The savings have definitely kicked in for me. I'm Vapin' in So Cal (CASAA Member).

Definitely get where your coming from with the not saving money bit. Its kind of turned into a hobby right now and I've probably spent more than I would in a year of smoking in a few months of vaping. That said, I have the money keep throwing at things until I discover what I like, what I don't and I'm finally satisfied with what I have.

I was a pack+ a day smoker and didn't really want to quit, wife kinda nagged at me enough that I figured I'd give the e-cigs a shot. Within a couple of weeks of actually researching after buying (and not much caring for) one of those Joyetech pen things, I got a couple of Vamos, Kanger tanks, evods, which were OK, then I started in to Kayfuns and a couple of RDAs by the end of the 2nd month and felt like I was getting there. Got a clone, then an original, a couple more clones, a couple of mechanical clones (don't like mechs enough to buy any orignals). Now I'm into box mods, got a Sigelie 50W, an iTaste MVP and now a pair of Vaporshark rDNA40s. I hardly look at the tube mods or mechanicals anymore.

Now the only wants on my checklist would be the new Kayfun4, besides that sampling more juices, maybe mixing my own and replacing parts are where I'm at now that I've figured out what I like and how I like it.

I have a buddy who gave me some good advice. He told me --go on the on the internet and google up vaping--watch some vids on you-tube--don't even think about saving any money nor think about guitting smokeing.

I have some expensive hobbies--this ain't really one of them. And this coming from a guy who has memorized his credit card number ordering stuff off the internet in the last few days.

I'm down to 3 analogs a day and people who know me can not believe it

I just spent over $100 in 2 days buying supplies and juice. I'm pretty certain I'm going to be satisfied with what I have. I refuse to smoke cigs anymore. I'm just tired of it. My birthday was yesterday and I decided to give up smoking for good.
I ordered 3 protanks and 2 spinners (I have vaped with protanks and I really like them)
I also ordered tons of juice to try.
To hold myself over I spent almost $60 at SS Vape to get a piece to last me until my stuff comes in.
