The water seemed nice here and piqued my interest in vaping again, so here I am, testing the waters.

About...ehh... a year and a half ago, I got what I thought would be one of the best starter kits. Unfortunately, I went with Prosmoke. So needless to say, that relationship didn't last me very long and as I fear has happened to others, my interest was no more. I thought this was all that vaping had to offer.

And that brings us here. I've done my fair share of lurking here and finally have seen some REAL reviews and I see that I wasn't alone with my frustrations. So here I am, sounding off as a new member and thanking everyone for the information I've found and will continue to find.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go order my new Halo Triton kit.

Welcome!!! A few people start with the Halo triton on here. Although I'm not familiar with it, I heard that it's decent except the lack of toppers available for it. The other very popular kit is: http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm. It's about $5 more, but you can get batteries with more than twice the battery life and essentially a any topper will fit on it.

Welcome here! I'm new too, and can definitely relate to the desire to keep it simple. Although VV may seem like something you won't want right away you will be surprised at just how quickly you decide you need one. I've seen it over and over and over. If you want hassle free, but to stick to a budget, just pick up a VV and keep it set at 3.7v. That's what most non-VV batteries run at, so you won't have to fiddle with it until you're ready!

I had a plain ego style battery (similar to the halo triton style) when I was toying with the quitting smoking idea. Two days in, I switched to the vision spinner 1300 because I felt like I was waiting for one battery to charge while finishing out the other. The spinner lasted me a full day. If you're a light smoker, the triton would definitely be perfect! The spinner learning curve is low when switching. Either way, good luck and enjoy the ride!!
