I started vaping 6 months ago, and since have used numerous cartos, mods, attys, tanks, etc and now I am ready to jump into RBAs. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which RBA to start out with? I am interested in starting with SS wicks, and I want a tank not a dripper. Also recommendations as to which grade of SS mesh, and resistance wire to use. I think for the first RBA I'd like to keep the cost down to under $50 if possible. TIA

AGA-T2 (or T+, theyre the same thing) and assortment of 400/500 mesh & 30/32 awg Kanthal A-1 wire. I would visit steammonkey as that's the only place I could find EVERYTHING on one website with decent prices.

This is what I was recommended for a first shot, and it's working extremely well for me so far. I would get an assortment because you don't know what will work best for YOU. This way you can try everything before bulk buying what you actually like.

There are plenty of other vendors that sell all of this so go where you want, but around 3' of each gauge wire, and a sheet (sizes vary, 6x12 inch would be best I think) of each mesh would do you fine to start with.

However, I'm also new so you may get more opinions, just telling you what worked for me!

Good luck bud!

I'm not a huge fan of genesis style attie. They inherently leak if you lay them down, just a negative in the design. I do love my terminators and drip atties, though. A phoenix is probly the easiest and cheapest atty to learn coil building on. A nice step up from that is the Igo-L atty. Still a dripper, but much better construction and design. Still really cheap, less than 20 bucks. There are several different types of rba's, Once you find what style you like, there are many in that style to choose from! Good luck and stay with it.

Edit: Discountvapers.com has one of the largest rba selections in one place and most are cheaper than anywhere else. Great place to look and get started.

Double EDIT: Didn't see no drippers and you want to use SS mesh, stll check out DV. They have a little of everything.

good advice. I suggest this approach as well. I dont mind standing my APV up to prevent leaking in exchange for huge amounts of super flavorful vaper.
