Taking the plunge. Local b&m just put there taifun gt clones on sale from $39 to $22. Haven't seen anything that low especially by time I would have to add s&h.

The Taifun rocks. The flavor was a bit muted for me, so I ran it with SS mesh, with little Rayon pigtails into the drip well from the juice ports. Worked like a champ...great flavor...until the base shorted out.

Having said that....I'm in need of a new Taifun, or at least the base. Which my local B&M had them for $22. I'd jump on that.

Watching daily for the 30mm Magma! Think they have it in Europe, but not here, and no clones yet.

Got it yesterday and still playing with it. Great so far. Did have gurgling and flooding which I expected until I could try different wicks and methods. On a whim I tried the kfl top fill method and have had zero gurggles for a few hours now.

Update: kfl methothod did nothing it had leaked below wicking slits.
