I decided to quit smoking again. Between the high price, health affects, and the wife complaining, it was just time. I gave the e-cig a try a couple years ago, with little luck. I purchased the original electronic cigarette M401 kit. It came with 2 batteries, 1 atomizer, and 5 refillable cartridges for $70. It worked well for the first week or so, then quickly lost its luster. it just didnt produce a full enough vapor for me anymore, and didnt take very long for the atomizer to fail all together.
Fast forward to this past weekend... I purchased the eGo-c. The kit came with batteries, 2 atomizer bodies, 5 atomizer heads, and 5 tanks. I havent had a cigarette since, nor have I even though of it! Pretty good for me, as I've been a 1.5 pack a day smoker for the last 15-20 years. I can safely say... I wont be looking back at the analogs!
The one thing about this tho, is that the vapor just isnt full enough for me. I can do without the throat hit(although dont mind it) but gotta have that feeling of exhaling smoke. From the research I've done, this is acheived by having a higher vg content in the ejuice. (someone please correct any of my statements as need... I'm still learning!), and that vg could be purchased from walmart. The ejuice I started with is a usa mix tobacco flavored at 18mg nictine. It tastes ok, but the vapor isnt very full, and theres hardly any throat hit. So I cut it with a lil of the vg I purchased at walmart, and WOW... What a difference! It dont taste nearly as good, but I'm now blowing thick clouds of vapor!! My question here is... Will this adversely affect my atomizers? Its a pretty thick and viscous liquid, so I assume they will clog up more frequently?? How should one go about cleaning them? Iso alcohol soak, then dry for a day?
I did order some supplies from rtsvapes.com. Pretty good prices compared to other sites I checked. I ordered 250ml of 100mg liquid nicotine(pg base) 250ml of vg, 60 ml of pg, and a couple different flavors. From what I have stated above, can anyone reccomend a decent mixture?
I am hooked on this! Its like a new hobby for me...lol Problem is... I'm going thru the juice quick, and certainly getting addicted to nicotine! If my post seems scattered thats prolly why! lol
Anyway... just thought I'd introduce myself, and ask the couple questions. I plan to do more research.. but.. If anyone knows the best place to get replacement parts for my set up, please let me know. I already know I want to order a twist 1000mah battery, at least another 5 pk of atomizer(whats the difference between a and b), and at least 5-10 more tanks. So wheres the cheapest place for REAL parts? I dont wanna order $50+ in cheap chinese garbage that dont work out of the box!
