Hi all, I've just joined and have tried my best to take in all I can from the multitude of posts available here, but please forgive me if I ask a stupid question (or twenty) as its not for the want of trying to find the answer! I would like to acknowledge DonDaBoomVape for his fantastic guide: "The Wonderful World of vaping: An Illustrated Guide to E-cigs" which has helped me turn the vast amount of information available about vaping from a viscosity level which I'd describe as starting out as being totally gluggy to maybe one of runny honey (room temp in winter! : ) i.e. I've got a much better understanding of the industry?? as a whole but am still (severely) lacking in many, MANY areas!

Anyway enough rambling for now, I'm sold on vaping and I want to get going ASAP so I need to buy an e-Cig... more specifically (I think ; ) a Joyetech eGo-T OR eGo-C type startup kit, but here's the rub... I've seen the "Super Pass-Thru Variable Voltage eGo (V2)" battery Part #BTVV see: http://........com/clzyhaq and I want it but how do I order it as part of a startup kit or do I have to buy a startup kit then buy the "Super Pass-Thru Variable Voltage eGo (V2)" batteries on top of the 2 batteries which come with the startup kit i.e. 4 batteries in total? And does that go for all the accessories i.e. do you just have to wear the initial cost of a startup kit then whatever you want extra is on top of that i.e. you can't pick and choose?

Another thought, will the "Super Pass-Thru Variable Voltage eGo (V2)" battery be compatible with the eGo-T OR eGo-C startup kit's atty? ANOTHER thing... I like the idea of the changeable attys via the eGo-C but does that mean if I buy the eGo-T with the "A" type cartridge (2ml) I don't have the changeable/disposable atty option?

Finally where can I get all this (plus the e-tobacco + the e-Crème brûlée (MMMMmmmmmmm!) juice etc etc) and just for the record I'd be happy to go anywhere (online) as far as Timbuktu to get it! Just thinking... I'm from PERTH, Western Australia maybe I shouldn't use Timbuktu as an example of what we call in Australia 'woop woop' i.e. the ABSOLUTE MIDDLE of NOWHERE, because technically I think we've got the title of the most isolated capital city in the world (and don't we love it! : )

So there you have it, clear as mud really isn't it?! If ANYONE can help me it'd be VERY, VERY much appreciated!
Oh and what I said before... "I've got a much better understanding of the industry?? as a whole" FORGET THAT! I've got no idea!!
:^ /

Thanks again, cheers!

Paul

LOL, all great questions (only dumb question is one not asked). Welcome!

I never had much luck with the eGo "tank system" or atomizer+cartridge setups. What I do like is the eGo Twist (variable voltage) with a standard resistance cartomizer (2.5ohm to 3.0ohm). Cartomizers have the cartridge and atomizer combined into one easy to use device that fits on any 510 connection the (eGo batteries have 510). I particularly like the Boge 3.0ohm.

If looking for a place to purchase, there are ECF Suppliers (Forum Suppliers List) and a whole bunch of "Registered Vendors" (not sure where the list is for that).

Good luck :)

Dear Cloud Wizard & Yves, thanks very much the both of you for your speedy replies I really appreciate the help. I would've replied sooner but to be honest I was waiting to see if anyone else would chime in- looks like I was out of luck! Anyway I guess I'll figure it out sooner rather than later. COUGH! COUGH! COUGH!... Pardon me! Oh don't worry about that that's just my lungs packing it in. You know it's been pretty hard going lately what with me not the sharpest tool in the shed ;-) and this being all so hard to under under under UNDERSTAND! ;-) but I guess I'll just have to push on and try to understand everyfing ;-) as best as I can. I need to get the best e-Cig I can cause the pension doesn't leave much room for luxuries nowadays {Oooo I'm going to hell for that one!} Where was I? Ah... To be honest I'm praying it'll be in time to halt the rapid downward spiral I've been feeling of late (or NOT feeling for that matter... s'times I can't feel my legs!) {too far? :?:} OH PLEASE GIVE ME THE STRENGTH SO I CAN UNDERSTAND ALL I NEED TO BEFORE IT'S IT'S too late  :p Amen

Hi Paul here, while I've got access to this iPad I just wanted to quicky apologise for all that stuff that's been written above because as you've probably already worked out it's... apart from what seems to be the ramblings of a very sick soul it's actually been written by the BAD Paul  Anyway who am I to judge, to be honest I don't think he truley knows what he's saying and doing half the time so don't take offence I'm sure he didn't mean anything by it. Oooo Gotta go, he's coming back!  :p

I'M BAAAAAACK! Moohahahahaha

In my experience the Ego VV is nothing more than an overpriced gadget that will not serve you any better than a good 1000 or 1300 mah LI battery from any of the many many suppliers here. I am currently using the X2 1300mah from Smokeless Image and they ship to your part of the world all the time. They are inexpensive and SI has the best Customer Service out there hands down! I have accumilated quite a collection of batteries and tanks and ecigs over the last little bit and for the price the X2 1300 is the best I've found, it is also a passthrough if you find yourself in a low battery situation so you can still vape while it's charging. It comes with a very long 3 ft. USB cord and I would recommend you pick up their 1.5 amp charger as well. They will charge on your computer USB but it takes all night with the 1.5 amp household charger you can vape and charge and it only takes about 3 to 4 hours to fully charge.Best part is the battery will last all day and night on a charge even if you chainvape and they look cool. BTW I ride a GSX1375R too it's in my Avatar. Best of luck whatever route you take and get off those analog Cancer Sticks asap!

So Calif
I started on Ego T's and then moved to the C's when they came out. They are hard to get used to and the T is expensive when the atty dies in it. You have to buy a new one.

The Ego Twist was not out when I started vaping. I would recommend you get 2 Ego Twists and either use a carto or one of the clearo tanks on top. They are easier to use, don't penalize you while you're learning how to draw on them, they don't draw like cigarettes do. It's a learning thing.

At any rate, buy more than 1 carto, they die in fairly short order, and if you decide the clearo tank route also buy more than 1. The worst thing a new vaper can do is have something die and nothing to use in its place.

I would not buy a kit knowing what I know now. I would buy the battery, the charger and whatever you want on top plus get a sample pack or two of things you might like. Be advised that most tobacco juices do not taste like burning tobacco ;)

YMMV
