just a couple of questions

Hi, I just switched from the Blu to a manual 510 cartomizer. Looking online i see a lot of mods. I am just curious if they are better than the Blue and the 510? And if so can some one show me a way to make one? I now use the mad vapes to get my stuff so if any ideas for making a tubular mad please let me know. The last question i have is a true noob question. When i smoked my blu i did not need cigs but when it ran out and i forgot to order why when i smoked a cig my throat started to hurt? Is it a chemical in the cig?

Welcome Poi - For Mods I am lazy and buy mine premade. Too many other hobbies to add that to the list. For the smoke --- remember back to your first cig, same issue. Those things have a lot of chemicals (and heat) to irratate a throat that has started healing from vaping. Enjoy the new hobby.

I know nothing about mods so I wont pretend to. Not going to waste my time or yours.

The reason your throat started to hurt when you smoked a cigarette is because you are smoking something that is burning. You're introducing your body to thousands of chemicals that it was very happy to be rid of. Smoking is really bad for you -- there is a HUGE difference when you vape.

Here's a list of the 600 chemicals the tobacco companies ADD to cigarettes. It includes ammonia, and a ton of things I refuse to pronounce or type out. Take a quick look. The List of Additives in Cigarettes - Additives in Cigarettes

thanks for the replies. I was just curious cause of the cool things i have seen while reaserching about vaping. The only other question is is it safer around kids do to the lack of other chemicals in cigs or do i still need to keep a close eye on them?

I wouldn't let your kids handle your ecig or your juices.. you can still overdose from nicotine -- and nicotine absorbs very quickly through your skin. As long as you don't mind your kids watching you vape (make sure they know it's NOT smoking, and that it's for adults), there shouldn't be any problems with it. But I wouldn't let them put their hands on any of it.

I'm sure you'll find plenty of folks to help you with mods..

once again thank you I was making sure cause my daughter is getting ready to walk, and did not want to leave anything that could harm her lying around. I think i am going to stick with the 510 Carto for now with the manual battery and wait till i get enough used stuff to make a mod. Thank yall for your time.
