Just a little bummed

First off, I get all my hardware from SI, and never had a major issue for over a year now. I just got my shipment, really excited about the dual coils.

Vivi Nova, Vivi Mini, ET stainless, Maxi, and iCLear 16. First four look fine, haven't tried using them yet. Both Vivi's come in a fancy little box. The iCLear quite frankly is disappointing. Even before removing the cellophane, I noticed that one of the wicks had completely unraveled. On the other side, 1 of the wicks is half unraveled. I haven't even opened it up. I took pics and will call customer service tomorrow. Quite disappointed. I was so excited when I got home to see the package.

QC has never been a problem until now.

Not at all. Looking forward to trying the others... I like large capacity so the vivi nova looks promising. I loved the capacity of the big T3, but got tired of the little leaks. Over all, I really looking forward to testing them out. Each seems to have its pluses. I can't even decide which to try first.

I guess I am spoiled by the quality of SI to date. Nobody's perfect, but there's a reason I've bought all of my hardware from SI only.

I don't think the unravelling should effect performance. Take it apart and retwist them yourself.

Sometimes unraveling makes it wick better.
