Just so you know, 306 attys (and probably some others) are indeed small enough to go down a drain, and require one to choose between abandoning it or taking the trap off.

And that's OK, my own observation was pretty obvious too. Just hated to have my nose rubbed in it like that. (Yes, in the end, I took the trap off to save it.)

LOL been there, done that. I opted to take the trap off (and found a whole bunch of other crap - earrings etc!). I now have a strainer in place when I'm cleaning atties.
