Just wanted to say thank you to the people of this forum for their help. I was procrastinating and just could not make up my mind what to buy even after several suggestions and a lot of reading of post after post. I have read several hundred posts - before and after being a member...

Then someone said KISS in the beginning... and I finally decided they were right. I was putting to much into this and making it to complicated so - I just broke down and I bought a 510 ego and an assortment of juices with different nicotine levels (made sure that they should be mixable flavor wise to experiment a little) - simple, but will meet my needs. We will see from here.

The eGo's are good basic starter units that are easy to work with so you're off to a good start. There's a learning curve to this but once you get it all figured out it gets easier. After that you can experiment a bit if you want because you'll have something that works for you to fall back on.

I've had a Ego kit for just over a year now . Although I have a few other options equipment wise, the Ego w/LR atty and drip tip is still in the rotation.

Can't go wrong with an ego battery there is a whole world of things you can put on it.

KISS is a great method sometimes. My advice is remember to HAVE FUN WITH IT! & Vaping though the urges with 24 nic can really do the trick. Also I've found if you get a sore throat menthol liquid can help a lot by having a numbing effect on your throat. A sore throat is actually quitting smoking related and not vaping related. We have a protective lining on our throats that is destroyed when we had smoked. When we give the body the time it needs to heal, we can experience a sore throat for a couple days as this lining is healing itself and growing back. Don't forget the hot tea too for those days and some lemon(well maybe just the lemon for me! mmm!)

Excellent! I did the same thing you did- put way too much thought into it. After months of reading here I got an ego and haven't had a cig since. Completely happy with it- thrilled actually.

Ego is a huge family of ecigs and accessories. There's always something new coming out that fits a 510 thread. You have lots of options in store for you. Shine up that credit card!

If you found a setup that works for you that's great. After all that's what the whole point is with vaping. People are told this is the hit or that is then find out for them it isn't. I'm so happy you found the vaping setup that works for you. Kudos and happy vaping.
