Hi, I'm Amy :) The long term effects of smoking are becoming very taxing so I'm giving vaping a shot. I wish I had found this forum earlier! I purchased a Blu starter pack on Friday, had a defective charging pack so I exchanged it for another on Saturday and got home to find ANOTHER broken charging pack lol! On Sunday I did a quick bit of looking around the internet and ended up buying an ego twist 1100, a couple of clearos and 2 bottles of juice, both tasting a bit questionable even though I tried them in store haha.

I've only smoked one cig since I purchased the ego, so I feel really positive about this. Lifelong smoker, I've quit 4 times the last time for 4 years. I've been smoking again for about a year now and my body is just screaming to put it down for good. I've put in an order with alhusions for 6 10ml bottles, and 2 bottles of juice by suicide bunny. Thinking of buying another battery, I mentioned that to the guy in the store when I bought the first one and he looked at me like I had two heads but it seems like most of the people here, from the lurking I've done at least, prefer to have a few batteries.

How much juice does one typically go through in one day? I'm pretty much letting myself hit it whenever I want and constantly worrying I'm overdoing it, but I haven't even gone through hardly any juice so maybe I'm allowed more? I'm vaping at 18 mg and 4.2 voltage. I still crave cigs non stop pretty much, but I expect that to some extent.

Also super curious about dripping? Tell me your ways drippers!

Hi Amy!
Welcome to ECF. Congrats on making the switch, and I love that you're jumping in with both feet.

The cravings will dwindle in time. For me, I enjoyed ordering and sampling lots of flavors to distract me.

I agree with you on the extra battery. You need a second for when the first is charging. Plus if that one should die on you, you don't want to be without.

I think a good average for most people is about 2-5ml a day. Your body will definitely let you know if you're over doing it. For me, just like if I smoked to many cigarettes - nauseous.

I just started dripping, so I'll let someone else tell you more about that...but this explains a very basic set-up. (helped me, thanks again to the ocelot).

Best wishes on your vaping journey. :)

Hello Amy, nice work on only smoking one cig! If you feel yourself slipping there's plenty of friendly people here to offer support.

I think the amount of juice a person goes through pretty much differs person to person. Some vape a bit harder than others. Vaping as you feel the urge is pretty much the norm for all I think.

As for dripping, I've never done it, but I'm planning on it. Some of the GURU's can give you much better advice than I on that front.

Welcome to the forum! Congrats on quitting analogs. It's been 4 months for me and no looking back. Sounds like you are going the right direction with everything. I suggest keeping a good variety of flavors on hand to help keep cravings down. Plenty of knowledgeable people on here to help you along the way.

I like your name! LOL. I haven't tried any thing from suicide bunny but I want too. I hear great things about Mother's Milk in particular. Extra batteries are always good. Just like emily n portland said. You want to make it as easy as possible to vape so you don't have an excuse to pick up a stinky.

Congrats on quitting, and :vapor: on!
