Hi everyone, an old friend got me interested in vaping (after telling me about all her yummy flavors) and turned me on to ECF, so here I am! Been vaping about a week and have cut back from a pack a day to about a pack every 2.5 days now woohoo! Last time I quit smoking it was by using Chantix, which was not a pretty sight... Hubby's a lot happier (and safer) with me vaping to quit!

Welcome to the forum! I tried it all, Chantix, Zyban, patches, the works. I gave up trying to quit. Started vaping to keep someone company and thought I'd cut down. Big surprise- I quit!

Take your time, don't put pressure on yourself. The more you enjoy vaping, the less you'll want to smoke. You're doing excellent for just one week vaping.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yeah Chantix worked for me, until it was time to stop taking the pills, then I was just angry all the time for no reason, so to save my sanity and hubby's neck, I picked the cigs back up... so glad to be closer to re-quitting!

Did it really? It didn't help me stop smoking one bit, it just make me sick to my stomach and a little nuts. Everyone I do know that quit using it is smoking again. I think they forget to tell you the part where you have to take it the rest of your life.

It always amazes me to hear people gradually moving from tobacco to e-cigs. I smoked about three packs a day for over fifty years. The day I got my first kit I put my tobacco cigs in a drawer and never even thought about smoking another one. I drive my neighbor places in her car because she isn't supposed to drive due to meds she takes. Even when she blew smoke in my face in the car, I was never tempted to smoke. It was an instant quit for me.
