Yeah my 801 is reading 3.8. I turned up the scale as told also and still the dead ones do not read anything not a zero, nothing ( just as if i wasnt touching the pos and neg to anything.....

Well i tried the last 801 i had on my PT this morning and it seems to be working (knock on wood ) so once i tested it on my PT for a bit i moved it over to my SB and its working at 6 volts and then moved over to my V2 and its working at 5 v...So my guess has to be i had 3 bad attys ( the 4th i was using for about 3 days and it just went dead on me all of a sudden )

As for it being a short on the devices themselves i doubt that is it, seems odd that 2 different devices would short out at the exact same time.

So the last one is working on all 3 devices as of now.

I attached pics of the adapters on the V2 and the SB, They dont look as if there are any issues, unless someone sees something that i dont? I use a 510to801 fitting on the SB.

Well just for the record....within 3 days my last NEW 801 atty just went out last night...So lets make that 5 801 attys with 3 days and 5 minutes time...Something is not right here...

My BE112s last for about three months on the V1. Cash 501s about a month (The old ones). Haven't tried the new ones Cash has. Even with the old ones I found the vapor production to be inconsistent so I would test them with a multimeter. Anything with a resistance over 3.5 ohms got chunked. That was typically about 50%. Not so with the BE112s. They are much more consistent.

I'm feeling a little deja vu here. I just had to smile...and then I felt like "beating a dead horse".

Just be careful when you ask if you might have received a "bad batch".

By the time it got to post #20 or so, I was feeling really awful. So...I've been getting BE112s from Best E-Cigs and haven't had a problem since.

Yeah i hear ya!! I am holding out until they get there BE112s in stock. I think i will take a break on there 801s for awhile after what i just experienced, all that money down the drain.....I wouldn't mind really if they atleast last 1 week ya know? but 1 puff? and dead? there was something definitely wrong with the ones i had without a doubt.

thats the main reason I clean my atty's....buyer's remorse! Every time I make a purchase, the chance of buying "junk" is there...I limit my exposure to junk by not needing to purchase as often....cleaning has worked for me, I've saved a bunch of atty's so they can burn again...If I ever blow 5 atty's in a week, I'd be quitting vaping for sure.....I won't participate in a rip off.
