Just wanted to share my results.
My wife and I smoke blus. My wife likes that awefull cherry.
I refill her cartomizers for my own use with johnsons creek juice.
Whatever I put in has that (to me) aweful cherry taste mixed in with it.
I followed advice found on the forum here.
I removed the end caps.
Put 7 of them in a pot and boiled for 10-15 min.
Rinsed with cool water.
Shook out and blew threw the battery end to get out excess water.
Put them in the toaster oven on 200 for 15 min
I then filled one using a dropper holding it on an angle with about 20 drops of johnsons creak mint chocolate.
Guess what? Not only does it work, it does not taste like mint chocolate cherry!:2cool:
I think I am going to like this place.
I tinker with everything so I also ordered from liberty flights.
An ego kit and a joye 510 tank starter kit to play with.
So far I only smoked one cigarette today. I would normally be at 20 by now.

Ok I may have spoke to soon.
Some of the cartomizers tast harsh and produce poor vapor.
I know it is not a dry condition as I flooded one and let it sit overnight.
It it like inhaling hot water. Not smooth at all.
Any suggestions?

Maybe try a reverse spin to get the rest of the water out.

Yes I had a friend that cleaned her dual core tube carto and stopped using it after. I saw it in her box yesterday and wondered why she was not using it. She said, "it did not taste right." I loaded it on my VV Infinity and hit it. It kind of tasted like 99 Bananas (which I like). I thought maybe it was just near empty and I reloaded it. Turned up the voltage and hit it. Steamy tasting bananas! Bleck. I asked is you had it completely dry when you put it back together. She said, "well I patted it dry"

It takes a lot longer than you would think for them to dry.
I put the cleaned ones that I do with water on a paper plate in an un-used room and let them set for at least a week.
I use water only when I'm out of vodka (my preferred method) even with vodka, I don't use them for a couple days.

Use the reverse spin above to speed it up but be patient and let them set. (also, sometimes, cleaning kills them. Not the coil, but the airflow. Sometimes you just have to pitch them) I can usually re-use 8 out of 10 of them after cleaning.

And welcome, neighbor!

Thanks for answering a question last month that I just started a new thread about today LOL. How about using a hygroscopic desicant in a small container with the carts. The rice is a good sugestion as it wrks the same way, However I think a silica jell would be a bit more effcient with the ad/absorbtion of excess moister.
